Loved the way terem moffi timed his run brilliantly in the build up to that red card, excellent offside awareness
Offside awareness. Something we have sorely missed under Osimhen.

Frank Onyeka will miss the final match due to the second yellow card he picked up today
This is not good. He is the spine of the team and nobody can argue that

But moffi looks like he is heavy. Moffi I know is faster than the one I saw today. But please who sent that pass?? That was tailor made. Osimhen will be licking his lips if na him get that kind pass.

As for the hexes, Cameroon has been our nemesis in all the AFCON finals we've lost.

Just glad they are watching from home now.

Always noticed Zaidu's movement but poor finishing and decision making. However he penned the left flank down making it difficult for the opposition to attack from that wing
If it wasn't for Calvin Bassey, Zaidu would be roasted

Chriskels, thank you
Na you gimme confidence watch this penalty
Soar super eagles
I knew we were gonna beat them in what they thought was their game. Now they are gonna be regretting why they had to force this match to penalties. Their goalkeeper wasn’t what the media wanted us to believe, it just happened that the Cape Verdeans were poor penalty takers, but we aren’t Cape Verdeans

I didn't even really notice Aribo in the match.

It seems other people on this thread didn't notice him to since they are not talking about him. At least Chukwueze did some things.

Aribo turned to ghost.
Aribo came into the match to prove we can still play with 10 men in case of a sent off.

If Osimhen gets such a pass he would have been offside.

Even the 2nd cancelled goal looked partially offside.

The one he could have licked lips on his Lookman's one on one, I know Osimhen would have shot first time or moved the ball to the right or be offside.

SE needs another Striker that's fast like Osimhen.

Nathan Tella should be capped.

This CIV will not be good to face in the finals o.

What a goal from Haller.

This AFCON needs a documentary once it is finished.

In case you think the ad was trolling Nigeria, you are wrong. Just to put proper perspective into it, there has been problems with power supply in South Africa for the last 3 to 4 years such that people have been forced to buy generators. They call it load shedding. The ad was trolling their ruling party ANC.

That said, lets respect Bafana Bafana. They exposed us totally. They took like 65% possession and played good football. We could have lost. Thankfully, we didnt.

Respect Super Eagles for fighting real hard
I don't understand this talk about exposing us.

No oh, the coach should leave him on the bench. If he comes in now and ends up missing in an eventual penalty shootout, the whole Nigeria will go for his head, forgetting that this is his first match of the tournament.
Gladly, all of them don too study the William guy🤣🤣

South African sporting glory is undergirded by their rugby and cricket successes, which are historically dominated by the White Afrikaaners.

If you follow South African social politics, you'd know how painful this loss is for the Black majority.
They used to have white players in their team but now the whites don't give a hoot about the team.
