Watched an interview where a South African complained about Hugo's cocky attitude. He made some disparaging remarks towards Kaizer Chief players and denigrated some other local players in the SA league.

So happy he lost with that kind of attitude.
they don’t like him 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Am thinking this is why Chippa United made that statement supporting the Eagles over SA, apart from marketing strategies for Nwabali, that Chippa United's statement smells of beef against the national team selection of SA with majorly sundown players.

Jose Peseiro was a lot more gracious in victory, giving kudos to the SA team.

Na Ajayi be next scapegoat bá?! Una want Zaidu out, he was out and reality checked in. So na Ajayi our in-house Coaches want out now?!

Like you folks are with them at camp, or know better than Paseiro and his coaching crew. This was how majority on this thread wrote off the team before the tourney began, today they are in final stage.

Make una dey calm down with beer parlour analysis. Na Chuks, Aribo, Musa and Awaziem, Bruno need to be replaced for now not Ajayi and co.
Completely agree
Ajayi has been immense in that defence

I too like the guy

Same season liverpool were frustrated in old trafford to a goal less draw. After the game Kloop complained that united played anti football and sat back all game

When Jose was interviewed and was told what kloop said he responded by saying he accept that his team packed the bus but it was the duty of kloop and his players to unpack the bus and score since he believed that his team were superior 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
MOU is bae, always a delight during press interviews. If am a money bag I go sponsor MOU salary to coach our national team. He can live anywhere he wants to live in the world but just coach my national team

If that Nacho pk is replayed the same way, William still won't catch it. It was very precise, the worst that will happen is for the ball to hit the bar.
Iheanacho had to drag the ball as far wide to the keepers left as possible, risking hitting the post. One could tell he was weary of the GK pulling a save. The keeper kept banking on diving to his left(his good side) to make a save. Even Aina's pk he dived to his left.

My favourite players so far in this tournament.

Onyeka....my kid brother's namesake. Looks a lot like him and plays like my dear brother. Reminds me of my brother very much.

Ekong...I bow for this Nigga. A born leader and a warlord.

Aina...confident on the ball and very strong.

Calvin Bassey Ughelumba....very underrated, but one of our shinning lights in this tournament

Most of you don't realize it but Ekong, our captain's name, literally means "war" in his native Ibibio language.
He saw how that SA guy took one for the team after fouling Moffi and he was like I too can take one for my team. He's been sterling not just in terms of football but leadership and motivation. Always ready to step up and show the way.

Oga Zirkzee hv only been good this season

He flopped at Bayern and Anderlecht before Genoa took him
Since when did Bayern and Anderlecht buy bad players?? A simple eye test on him will tell you he's a baller but you choose to look at who is buying who. I used to be like you when I was in secondary school, I loved reading back page transfer rumours.

Did you know that the two players(Iheanacho and Nwabali) who decided our PK fate yesterday are from same village but different states? Lol funny right? They are both from Egbema. A village cut into two halves in the name of state creation. One half in Imo and other to Rivers.

Egbema boys madi oo!!
Wow. That's crazy 😮

Omeruo’s penalty was too good. I think he shares same confidence, technique and psychology as Ivan Toney of Brentford. Ivan Toney is class. He understands goal keepers, effortlessly rolls the ball in while the keepers go the other way or even if the keeper dives in same direction, he hits the ball with precision and with a curve that the ball slips through before the keeper hits the ground.

I was worried about Moffi’s. He went midline. Ekong and Iheanacho’s penalties were underrated. Both players combined power and precision.

Aina’s penalty would’ve been one of the best if not for the elevation. Keeper would’ve struggled with that even if he had dived in same direction.
Never seen a Gk catch that kinda Aina's penalty. It's either you score or you blow it over the bar

Chuks and Aribo seriously need to be replaced
Well for Chuks Tella is there and hopefully we can get Noni dude is a fantastic winger.

Let's push for Olise again maybe we'll get him this time
Olise is the upgrade of Chuks not Tella or Noni. Noni na same with chuks in decision making.

Olise na world class. I want all though.

At d beginning of the tourney, I mentioned this as his weakness. Reason I called for inclusion of Igoh Ogbu. Ajayi is good against teams that apply low block. That way he will have time to screen his area before making a pass. But becomes a problem against teams with high press. Either he gives a wrong pass in dangerous area or he commits a foul. It has happened at least twice or more before the SA game.
Ajayi has height advantage and has the capacity to do better. I think he has struggled a bit but I will rather he stay on the starting eleven. You guys are not giving him enough credit. That boy has put in some decent shift

If the Dutch managers keep ignoring him and Nigeria work on him, you never know.
Tyrone Ebuehi remains the only FB who willfully accepted to play for Nigeria when he was one of the best young players in Holland. Hopefully he gets to the next level in is development sooner.
Did you create that narrative in bold from your imagination.

You say we did not miss him and yet his absence was enough to alter the position of Aina. It's obvious the coach does not trust others to play that position and the I believe the coach must have a cogent reason.
Our wingers were caged yesterday because the wing backs could not easily go forward. This was what Zaidu was doing although with poor final balls
How many scoring opportunities did Aina create yesterday including long throws crosses , defence splitting passes and of course he defended by resolutely.
