If we are winning by a good margin in the second half, sub(late sub) in Onyemaechi to kill time and also for him to have a taste of the tournament too.

He is the only outfielder that hasn’t had even a minute of game time

Since that penalty miss, Aina has been so withdrawn. I just hope that didn’t affect him psychologically to the extent of making mistakes today trying to be too careful. He should free his mind and be his usual self in order to give us his best.

I like that boy so much I will love to see AFCON gold medal around his neck today.
Iwobi as well ,,, he’s being silent on socios unlike before

Onyemaechi has a future ahead of him. Na Musa own dey more important. Since we insisted on bringing him along, we owe him at least two minutes.

Let him break his appearance record and hopefully retire in peace.

Whatever happens today, I have to say, I'm very proud of the boys. Many of us, me included never expected them to make it that far, given their form before the start of the tournament, but they have proven us wrong. They have done incredibly well.
It won't be an easy match, but the never say die attitude of Nigerians will prevail!!

same here since they got to the semi-finals by beating Angola, I have been pleased with the team. I only hope we can manage success afterward

forgiveness:

No. He was subbbed after the defender catchup with him and kick the ball away. The same scenario Moffi utilized if not for the foul.

Semantics. The Osimhen header I’m referring to was in the 105/106’ and he was subbed off at 110’.

“ because a bit after he missed the chance Moffi was subbed in for him ”.

The point still remains. Lookman buries his chance and we end the game at 90. That is the key point.

I still say Onyemaechi should have been used instead of Zaidu. That man's ballplay is atrocious.

Well, Zaidu is not a bad player but he’s been off form at this AFCON. He hasn’t done much, both offensively and defensively, in any of the games he has featured so far.

Well, after the South Africa match, Peseiro was asked a couple of questions about why Zaidu was on the bench. And I also read a few comments on Twitter, so my insinuation wasn’t entirely baseless.

O pari

mrwilliams9:

No, it makes more sense to put in Sanusi. He’s defensively better than Osayi and Sanusi is a natural left footer so he’ll cover the LWB position better than a right footed player.

Not everything is tribalism.

Bruno hasn't kicked a ball in this tournament and his current form is unknown. It's not worth risking in such a crucial game.

Starting the players that have been effective in your tactics is very important.
