Stand up for the Champions 🏆

I like how you don't have any actual allegiance to any team. You only support teams that play against Nigeria.

Perfect definition of a hating lowlife 🤣🤣🤣.

God forbid that any of my family members be cursed with this level of misery

On balance of play we simply didn't deserve to win. We even got lucky Ekong scored from that set piece.
The defence didn't trust the midfield, they kept lumping it up to Osimhen.
The fans themselves were over confident. Where all the confidence was coming from, I had no idea.

If we no get confidence wetin we come get?

Ndidi is not a controller either. None of the midfielders in this team to CIV 2023 is a controller. None.

This team needed an Nwakali but Jpes kept playing dumb and stubborn.

Ndidi isn't a pass master himself.

Nwakali would have made a difference in this match
I am fully convinced
Iwobi wasn't opening up for passes
Nwakali does that to perfection
He passes, opens up and keeps the ball moving
He needs to be in this team ASAP

Zaidu na zombie. He was the player who was suppose to mark kessie

That guy na zero
You can't blame him the pressure was too much on the defense... And error would eventually occur. Its not easy defending and depending without a little bit of break And intervention by your midfielders

Painful but good. If Peseiro won, it will be another Jose Mourinho brilliant praises. When actually, PARK BUS SHOWS THE PERSON CANT COACH WELL.

Finito.

He surely can. Iwobi playing in the formation was the unnatural sight. For Nwakali, it would have been round peg in a round role. The perfect DLP.

Which Nwakali? grin Wake up. He can't play in this formation.

Its obvious Iwobi had no business starting 2nd half. Aina wasn't at his best either same as Lookman but they still tried.

See......I really can't fault the players cos they did sacrifice everything for their coach. Osimhen kept fighting for crumbs cos he was starved throughout the competition of passes.

We wanted the trophy but CIV wanted it more. No need blaming the Ref cos both Ivorians goals are clean goals.

The referee allowed judo against Osimhen. It was glaring.

There was nothing the players could do because the coach practically cut off the midfield from the attack.

Why not bring in Onyedika when he saw the midfield was being overrun? There is nothing anyone will tell me to agree Iwibi is better opening from the deep than Onyedika.

Bruh......competition has come to an end. I wasn't pained for losing out to be honest cos we didn't play to win the match.

We aimed to defend for 120mins, then win on pen. We were just lucky to score a goal in the match.

We have very good, skillful players yet we were parking Bulldozers. I don't like comdemning coaches while competition is going on, but since it has come to an end - its time to call spade a spade.
We did not play well. I said so before and after we scored. As a SE fan, I'd have been happy if we had won but I don't think I'd have watched the match a second time. Our play was terrible.

Dude only got good long passes but no lungs to run around.

I already saw his game from U17 and I knew he could have problem in modern football but you thought I was hating.

Fluke is not working. Will you call the win over South Africa getting tactics right? We were totally outplayed in our last two games. That is not getting tactics right. I have said it and will say it. Negative football is just fluke. That is why Mourinho keeps falling. With time, it gets clear that it is stale.

I have never been a fan of Mourinho, but that man has won a lot of trophies with his "negative tactics." That he's having a tough time now, doesn't mean you should downplay his efforts.

I have been a Barca fan all my life, and possession football is my forte, but calling Peseiro's tactics a fluke is like putting a dent on the efforts of those players, who worked so hard to get to the final.

Some countries played good football and got eliminated. Will you call them flukes too? The South Africa that outplayed us, where are they today?

JPes?! He has no business coming back to Naija. He should fly directly to Lisbon from Abidjan. LOL!

Jpes' tactical limitations naa. He has no idea how to utilise proper cerebral central midfield personnels.

Onyedika is the team's only true holding midfielder who can ball play and also defend. Jpes can't use that.

Nwakali is the only true DLP we have in Europe currently. Perfectly suited for this formation. Jpes again has no bloody idea how to use that one hence he always ignored him.

The man is tactically inept despite taking us far with his nicely set up ultra defensive football.

Not for me. I'll admit that I severely underrated this team based on our pre tournament record, so this finals run exceeded my expectations

Exactly what Mikel used to do is what I'm talking about

I get you, but Iwobi is just not that kind of player
The closest we have to mikel's profile is Nwakali..
But because he's not in the EPL or Real Madrid, we can't call him up

I mentioned it. Bring in another midfielder to hold ball. If you have to keep defending all game eventually you’ll concede chances.

Pls don't mention that name here unless u want some people to come for your head. No good different kind of MF replacement to Iwobi in this tournament. Some said he will cough out blood. But na here we dey. Our DF has been drilled. Now is time to work on the MF. Nothing is wrong with the attack. If our attack was given to CIV do ya all think that it would have ended in 2??
