So if the sale fuel at 1k and transporters increase there price from kano to abj to 100k so you ll force them to move people at your own price. They will close down and the only available car you ll see ll be draged by people who have more than 100k for transport.be wise and don't just eat for today.

I thought we ran a free market? How is forcing private business to sell their stock going to solve the issues on ground?

Some basic root causes of this madness

Bandits and herdsmen terrorizing farmers, people can't even go to their farms. Economic instability. So if I buy products 10 naira today and the prevailing exchange rate pushes it to 20 naira tomorrow, so I should rush and sell everything? When restocking, which capital will I use buying at the current rate? If you wanted to be crude in dealing with private businesses, why didn't the government go to a neighboring country and flood the Nigerian markets with commodities that are scarce/expensive here? Thereby crashing the price?
Government policies are failing and yet they don't want to take responsibility.

We've read news of Adamawa governor banning the transport of building materials out of the state to the Cameroon. Nigeria state governor did same with the state's food supply. They are no stup!d. These governors know what they are doing. And certainly, you don't understand their situation better then they do.
