Nigeria were defending all through and it left the ivorian playing their game confidently. Such game will not let them get tired easily and even when they are tired it will not really show because Nigeria style of play makes ivory coast feel relax in playing their game just the way they want it. Ivory coast played nothing but a Positioning football but your coach don't know how to tackle that kind of style.

That is one of the Nigerians problem. They kill talent because they lack foresight. After taking wrong decision they will start looking for who to blame for their own mistake. Nigerians don't like to hear the truth, they can crucify you for doing so especially if it doesn't favor their wrong doing

The Nigerian team was a team of stars and good ones at that. But it lacked cohesion, thanks to the useful midfield. To make it worse at the final, the team was so edgy. Too many fouls at the first few minutes of play. And after the goal, they went into full defence mode against a confident and very attacking Ivorian side. I think the better team got the medal.
