Who exactly is benefiting from an ever falling Naira? What kind of cruelty is this? In 2019, a friend of mine based in the US invested $200,000(N72,000,000 at that time) into Nigerian real estate. Now his investment is valued at about N200,000,000($135,000). Despite the fact that his naira investment tripled in value, it was still not worth it from a dollar perspective. He is now regretting his decision because he would have been better off just leaving his $200k in the bank when you consider it is now worth 32 percent less. This is an example of foreign investor they claim to be courting.

People benefiting are Nigerians abroad who choose to stash their money in dollar abroad and not invest a single kobo in Nigeria but would rather invest abroad.

Dude i send $400 to my parents monthly which isnt up to 300k before this crazy increase. With this, i send $200 and save $200. So their money increased to N300,000 monthly. Tell me its not in my favor grin
MT:

How does this help you?

Wont you but expensive things from the same market ?

2021 my cousin in US sent me $50, I collected the $50 from the bank then went to aboki to change, and changed it to #21,500,
Now this same cousin sent me again #50 for birthday gift, but I could not collect the dollar to change but guess what, that same $50 is now #73,000 that's triple what it used to be 3yrs back, that's how bad it is.

Obi would be the most stupid person on earth, to willingly want to put himself in this kinda mess that his isn't a part of.

Eleru lo ye ko gberu e.

APC that put us in this position should kuma continue till they fully bury the country, so that history will tell and show how they were the end of Nigeria.

It is best left to imagination where Nigeria would be by 2027..why the hell would he want that kind of wahala?

If I were him, I would sit on the sidelines and watch them destroy everything patapata. Las las these bastards have forced me into a position where i have to flee from this country, but wherever I am on this God's green earth, if I still dey by 2027, I will come back to vote APC again just for the fun of it. Let me see the bastard that will query my choice then.

They want to do everything except attack the root cause

It seems all politicians are benefiting from the rot hence the lack of will to fix it

Official market is now worse than parallel market
Which kind wahala be dis?
So who is funding the parallel market for it to have such stability?

At this rate, technically, 95% of Nigerians survive on $1 a day. How many Nigerians eat 45k of food in a month?

I don't see anything funny in what you sent.

You are still focus on the figure, instead on the value.

Value is stored in money.

The 200USD you are sending to your parent, that now translates to 300k cannot get the same items that your parents were buying using the previous 300k (400 USD) to get.

You ought to be sending 500 USD to your parents now if you want them to afford exactly what they have been getting with your 400USD (300K naira).

I hope you can relate to the economics behind my explanation.

You are the one with empty head. With the floating of the Naira foreign investors can come in and exit at anytime. The different rates was a scam before. And a time will come, when all those people who are arbitrary increasing price would not be able to do so. Consumers would always look for alternative.

What a post. 🤦 Never seen a more gullible post.

I mean, you cant go from a useless buhari to tinubu, who offered nothing during his campaigns, has a history of being a drug dealer, forged his certificate and made serious gaffs during his campaigns and you'll be expecting miracles

Now you have broadened the context.

I responded to you based on the information you earlier provided.

Now that you have brought Canadian, Malaysian, British into it, I rest my case.

I doubt if you people shouting Obi are aware he’s one of the corrupt leaders. You people should stop fighting the wrong cause. You won’t listen.

Your immediate eastern governors are they not stealing your resources right now ? Is the same thing not happening across the country regardless of the tribe ?

So what’s the issue exactly with you idiots? Can’t you apply sense to know this is not a tribal war. Our common enemy is the leader that fails to deliver.

Free yourself from tribal and mental slavery.

Yet u are berating him from a myopic stand point of ethnoreligiouscentricism... There's practically no way Tinubu can be a better administrator than Peter Obi or Osinbajo. Both are definitely not saints but can never be as disastrous as Tinubu and Buhari. Common sense! Now get lost with ur emotionally unstable bigotry
