Keep transferring.. another president will bring them back. or maybe if we have another south south president. He will transfer NNPC, NPA to Delta or Portharcourt.

The moment Upstream Regulatory Commission transfered key departments to Lagos and not to Niger-Delta was when I knew PBAT's intention was not genuine. If CBN and FAAN claim transfering some departments to Lagos was to ensure they are close to the institutions they regulate, what reason would Upstream Regulatory Commission give for moving theirs to same Lagos? They say na office space...lol. Sha, mek him kuku relocate himself since renovation of Dodan Barracks was captured in the budget. Na to build new NASS complex there remain cheesy

14th February, 2024.

His Excellency,
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,
President and C- in -C,
Federal Republic of Nigeria,
Aso Rock Presidential Villa,
Abuja.

Sir,

THE NEED TO RELOCATE THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES CHAMBERS TO LAGOS

I am writing to bring to your attention an important matter that I believe warrants your consideration. As our nation continues to strive for operational efficiency and prudent financial management, I propose the relocation of the House of Representatives chambers from Abuja to Lagos.

RATIONALE FOR RELOCATION

1. OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY: Lagos, being the commercial nerve center of Nigeria, offers a strategic location for the House of Representatives. The city's infrastructure, accessibility, and economic significance can facilitate more efficient legislative operations.

2. COST-SAVING: Relocating the House of Representatives to Lagos can result in significant cost savings. The current maintenance and operational costs associated with the chambers in Abuja can be minimized, contributing to overall fiscal prudence.

3. ECONOMIC IMPACT: The relocation can stimulate economic growth in Lagos and its environs, creating opportunities for local businesses and driving infrastructure development in the region.

CONSIDERATIONS

1. LOGISTICAL PLANNING: A comprehensive plan will be essential to ensure a smooth transition, addressing logistical challenges and accommodating the needs of legislators and staff.

2. PUBLIC SUPPORT: Engaging with stakeholders and the public to garner support for the relocation will be crucial. Transparent communication about the benefits of this move can help build consensus.

3. PRESERVATION OF ABUJA'S STATUS: While advocating for relocation, it's important to emphasize that this initiative aims to enhance operational efficiency and economic impact, rather than diminish Abuja's significance as the capital city.

Your Excellency, I urge you to consider the potential benefits of relocating the House of Representatives chambers to Lagos. This move aligns with the goals of operational efficiency, cost-saving, and strategic economic development. I am confident that your leadership and vision for our nation will guide this proposal toward a positive and impactful outcome.

While thanking you for your kind attention to this matter, accept Mr. President, the assurances of my highest regards, please.

Sincerely,

Ademola Khalifa
President, Jagaban Continuity Forum
