jamalnation:I have to agree. I'm in Osun and I have seen instances where people are deliberately inflating the prices for different customers. Not just food prices but also other items. A Seller insisted 12k as his price, only for buyer to get it at another shop at 9k, and they stocked at the same time! Another sold items at 3700 naira per piece, only to discover that it was actually 3200 naira per piece. Seller was later confronted, only for him to be laughing. What about an item that was priced at 175k at a shop, only for another seller to tag it 220k? It's total madness here in Osun state |

EdiskyHarry:I don't know what it would take for those useless govs to set aside as little as 1 billion naira per month for human development since states are now getting improved and robust monthly allocations. Artisans, transporters, farmers, entrepreneurs, all need some sort of support to flourish. Empower few people so that they too can empower more people. Simple arithmetic |

LoveLeadsLand: Nairamatrics should go and sleep, not just sit in Lagos and assume data. Bauchi state is one of the cheapest state in Nigeria. Pure water is still sold for #10 in Bauchi, yes you heard that well, a room and parlour is around 80-120k in Bauchi. A bottle of coca cola is 170 in Bauchi. Bauchi should be in the top 3 most cheapest state to live in. |

EdiskyHarry:Things we celebrate in Nigeria sometimes makes me think we are not normal as humans. Imagine churches and mosques almost doubling industries and our leaders keep asking people to pray for something within their capacity to fix. Is it God that will come down and provide employment for people, is it God that folds your hand and brain and not making you implement policies to exterminate insecurities in the country? Is it God that will come down and remove poverty in the land? |

The people that compile that list need to have their heads examined. The most expensive states/ city to live in and Bauchi is on that list? How?? When you say to "Live in", what comes to your mind first? How much is a Two bedroom flat in Bauchi, how much is same in Abuja?? Someone in Bauchi tells you life is cheap in Bauchi because he can feed 3 times daily with N1000, what you don't understand is that they feed on cheap millets and corn. That one na food?? Quality and quantity no be same. Someone should help me tell this people that did this stats is foolish |

I lived in Ondo and I live in Anambra. Food is very expensive in Anambra compared to Owo Ondo State. Though am in Anambra, I still buy some food in Owo Ondo State, food like garri, and some fruits. The size of plantain and banana I bought for 4k here in Nnewi is bought at 1k in owo. So once I see anybody coming from Owo, I buy foods there. |

Rubbish data. Kogi is pure Agriculture next door to Benue state. Kogi and Benue state and Jos plateau are all food Baskets. You that have not travel out of your state before, is here writing nonsense. Am not surprised because, your dail meat is pomo (or cow hides). No protein in your body. If you see yam in Kogi, you will run. |

EdiskyHarry: Big time truth here. I didn't do my research about the state and moved there and I kinda regret it. People here are lazy, well, let me say there is no work for them to do. You'll hardly see anything the govt is doing that's targeted to the people. Food prices here are like Zee world, extraordinary everyday. Where I stay, to get light na wahala. We go for more than a week without light. Any day they bring it, it lasts just 3 hours. After you don pump water finish, they take the light. I'm still in shock whether it's still this Akwa Ibom I see in the internet or another one. The way churches are littered in every corner of the state is just crazy. What are y'all doing with all the churches when you still go back to continue your bad deeds. People will leave economic activities and spend all their day in churches. And when they finally show up at their business, they wanna charge you for the period they weren't at their business. Ignore the media hype, Akwa Ibom is scam. They don't even have remarkable places where you can go and spend money if you're a baller. No fantastic relaxation spot or outdoor and recreational centers. Just a state thriving on having the best infrastructure plan. God bless you for saying this truth. 2 Likes 1 Share |
