Some people cannot engage in a civil debate.

After one or two sentences and you do not agree with them, the next thing is to insult you.

Only you know what's eating you up.

Below was what I said during the campaign season

BlueRayDick:
I just hope whoever is going to be the president has other ideas of generating revenue other than Taxation, taxation and more taxation.

I'm saying this because I'm yet to see FG thinking about how to increase government's earnings other than imposing more tax on the people. Now we have them taxing almost everything in sight both in Lagos and at the federal Level. They tax recharge cards/phone calls, increase vat , drive PAYEE like mad and even tax traders through fees, rates and dues. Yet goverment earnings is not matching it's spendings.
Larride seemed to be of the opinion that Tinubu would be empathic , would not continue to tax everything on sight and has ideas about income generation which he has been dishing out and Buhari played deaf . My guy Larride even thinks Tinubu would focus on taxing the rich and leave the poor alone. Guess who is choking the poor ? Tinubu !

larride:
Of course, If you follow Tinubu colloquium that he does on his birthday annually, he always give his advice on how things can be improved on.

There's one that Buhari was the Guest Honor of the day and Tinubu was talking about how to tackle and reduce corruption in the civil service. He practically told Buhari then that Efcc alone cannot eradicate corruption from the civil service until a credit system is made paramount instead of the cash and carry system we currently operate. A gave an example, A civil servant that has been working for say 6-10yrs, how does this civil servant buy a car or get a home? If he wants either, he will be required to pay cash for it, if his salary cannot fund it, he looks for way to game the system to get the cash to buy the car/house. But a credit system where civil servant can use their job/salary to get these things on credit while they pay installmently will help reduce corruption in the civil servant by a big stretch. Likewise mortgage for houses.

When they wanted to increase VAT to 7.5% also, in that year Colloquium, Tinubu pleaded with V.P Osibanjo and his team not to go ahead with the increase of VAT because it will reduce the purchasing power of the masses and further throw more into poverty. He rather suggested that the tax net be expanded to include those whose income are taxable but not currently paying taxes into the tax net, he even suggested luxury tax that target the elite. But what did Osinbajo did? They went ahead with the VAT increase anyways. I think that's when Tinubu stop disturbing himself with any advice if they are not going to consider it.

......another Innovation Hub built by Senator Abiru of APC.
This is good. I hope he hands it over to a private firm to manage it for sustainability else his sycophants would rob that place empty and kill whatever good intentions fueled him to build it. Nice.
