This was the same denial that you are known for all these years and that’s why imo state is in such ruins and decay. Almost every blogger in Owerri would always show Wetheral road which is just 00.1% of Owerri while 99% Owerri are decayed and in ruins.

Have you wonder for once why most imo indigenes prefer to live in Onitsha and Awka than living in Owerri? The answer is simple that Owerri is such a decayed town that has failed to attract even igbos from other states to live there not to talk of other Nigerians.

Onitsha may have its challenges just like every other Nigerian cities, but the condition of Owerri is despicably worse because imo state is among the top 10 most indebted state sin Nigeria but people keep asking where are the monies ? They were all looted by Okorocha, ihedioha, uzodimma, etc

Onitsha even as a major commercial city has always had the kind of infrastructures that Owerri dreams of like flyovers, ten lanes superhighways, cloverleaf interchanges, well planned neighborhoods, etc

There’s no doubt that when we consider all factors and all indices of development like roads, infrastructures, health, education, etc, Anambra comes tops as the most developed Igbo state.

The problem and reason why Owerri has remained a squalor , undeveloped, backward and economically unviable is because imo state indigenes have refused to elect good leaders and even when they find out that they made a leadership mistake they will still not be able to stop living in denial and talk to their governor to do the right thing.

Even at this older age you're still acting like a toddler. Firstly you are 55yrs old, you should have grand children by now but unfortunately you aren’t even married yet. Abagworo you need more than help and psychotherapy to rescue you from your grand delusions and denials in life.

I am happy to be in this nairaland because I am the only one that knows how to respond appropriately to you guy’s tirades, lies and propaganda.

Abagworo grow up because you will soon be 60 and still don’t have commonsense.

How come no one has reported here that Innoson Motors is about to build a massive CNG conversion and training plant/centre in Onitsha? It was carried on TVC a few days ago. All we see here are bickering by some insecure Igbos who are unhappy that Anambra is leading other igbo states as it should be.

Useless envious frustrated imo man what’s your own with what he said, why must he post pictures before you believe him, you are not even from Anambra but just like every imo person, you people are more interested in what’s happening in Anambra than what’s happening in your backward imo state that was why it was so easy for a well known hardened 419 kingpin to be foisted on you guys as your governor .

I just knew silly punks will try to blame Soludo for the state of Onitsha library.

FYI, this library has not been rehabilitated in more than 40 years! There have been several governors that spent 8 years in that time frame and did Nothing! If it was not that Soludo has demonstrated his desire to upgrade Anambra state, nobody would be appealing to him to paint a library because you know it would not happen.

Stop your silly blame game. Nigeria is BROKE! Yet Soludo finds money to somehow continue modernizing Anambra. As for the silly Chinedu behind your yanga channel, his only contribution is to film the state and just continue trying to blame government for the sorry attitude of people. Even getting people to stop trading on the streets and trashing the environment is such a difficult and politically dangerous move by Soludo. Since you will need to enforce it. Which could make one unpopular trying to do the right thing. That is exactly the reason why successive Anambra governors did not bother themselves with trying to create a decent state. They knew it was politically dangerous and would rather leave Onitsha, Awka and Nnewi in squalor than risk their political future.

Soludo must be appreciated for the difficult steps he is taking to transform Anambra and make it one of the decent place one can live within Nigeria again.

I will gracefully pretend I did not read your condescending diatribe, this thread is already awash with annoying characters as it is.....do I need to remind you that this is an ogbakor Igbo, we are republicans and every man is entitled to his opinion and SAY! If you continue with your uncouth and uncultured conduct, I will wait for you in the gutter, you know how far now! By the way, Soludo based on what I have seen so far will fall short of our expectations........!!

.
It is coming up fine. It will be completed last quarter of 2024 or first quarter of 2025. Two more pharmaceutical companies are also building factories in other parts of the state. Anambra is the most sought after destination for investments now. The days of Enugu are gone. I have been watching Afia TV on DSTV for sometime now and noticed that they hardly get adverts. Their marketers have to go and beg petty traders at Ogbete and New Haven markets to patronize them for paltry sum of 1k to get advert slots on their TV. That's how dry Enugu is but Anambra is definitely booming industrially.

I likened Anambra to the America of igboland. I will explain this. The whole of igboland is fixated on Anambra just like the world is fixating on America.

The yanga guy is from Imo state but lives in Anambra and Delta states. He’s a typical imo state man that hates Anambra even though his backward useless worthless imo state couldn’t offer him the opportunities he got in Anambra. The guy even goes about filming gutter just to prove that Anambra or Soludo isn’t working. I once told him that if we put such scrutiny in Owerri the world would see the worst place on earth inhabited by humans.

The reason most people don’t know how decayed Owerri or imo state at large is , is because there’s no blogger in Owerri that goes into the inner neighborhoods of Akwakwuna , Orji, worldbank, etc to film those dungeons with dirty dilapidated roads that constitutes 80% of Owerri.

Onitsha despite being a major commercial and industrial city is cleaner than Owerri that has no form of economic activity and this has resulted in high unemployment, poverty, insecurity, rise in commercial sex hawking, etc

We all know the propaganda from the reality. Yanga is on a propaganda mission and it is very obvious due to his envy and bitter towards Anambra because he is a well known imo state indigene.

I was with an ideator guy and he said that he regretted not serving an Anambra man that his Imo people are terrible and despicable

I been Anambra man told him that ...he should not talk about his people like that! He was angry

The governor is trying with delivering on road infrastructure in the state….especially considering the parlous state of these roads before his admin’ was sworn in! Though i’d like to see improvements in urban sanitation/greenery, as well as improvements in revenue generation and pooling together of funds by consortia of investors aimed at embarking on specific big-ticket projects!

If this road is completed why is it looking so rough ? Why are motorists still using the road sides as a parking lot? Why is there sand dunes on a newly completed road? Why can they build high rise parking lots and charge people that way our roads are free of these obstructions? This is not how you are going to change the face of Onicha assuming that's the governor's plan.

The fact that B-Lord is running his business in Awka should be a form of motivation to other tech inclined individuals in Anambra and the East to know that what can be done in Lagos, can also be done in the East. B-Lord is a major inspiration honestly. The fact that he does his philanthropy with his own funds without setting up any foundation to request for donations says alot about the kind of person he is.

But their entire Russian Federal Government built! As if they didn't know Nigeria also has a FEDERAL Government to build such infrastructure like the Russian FEDERAL Government!

Gradually but surely, Soludo is implementing his vision. I love that he isn't giving excuses or wailing over money. Even though I know the economic crunch will be hitting him too. But, he is focused on doing his best.

I wish he would visit some of his road projects more often. That will not just keep the contractors on their toes, but will also draw media attention to his projects for those saying he isn't doing anything. One great thing about Gov. Otti of Abia is that he visits his project sites daily. So once he pays a contractor, they have NO CHOICE but to hit the ground running and deliver quickly on the project without delaying and waiting for variations in prices to occur.

Meanwhile, I found this wonderful YouTube vlogger (blessingGodwins) based in Anambra. They are a couple and they are committed to driving all over the state to highlight the Governor's projects in the far ends of the state. I love that they say it as they see it. Unlike one cheap propagandist who only finds a way to badmouth everything done by the government and create an impression that it is "bad' in some way.
