You should even commend him for having the audacity to take some decisions. These are decisions successive govts. in the past had dodged. Is it reasonable for Nigeria to continue using 1/3 of its budget to pay for petroleum subsidy? Does it make economic sense to continue using a chunk of our FX to defend Naira? Is it possible for Nigerian govt to continue using the FX earned to refine petroleum products internationally? Yes,things are difficult at the moment, we have to make a choice,it is either we do not take these decisions now and watch our country collapse or we suffer temporarily and hopefully have our economy positively reformed

You export when you have fully satisfied domestic consumption. You export excess. In Nigeria, reverse is the case. The LPG gas we produce isnt enough to satisfy our demands and we are exporting thereby creating scarcity and orice inflation.

which countries does Nigeria export cooking gas to?

what is the government doing to use the flared gas to meet domestic demand?

what are those decisions he took that he should be commended for?

what is the result of the decisions?

how did you come to the conclusion that the government was using 1/3 of its budget to pay for subsidy?

now that it has stopped using 1/3 of the budget to fund fuel subsidy, what is the result?

what has happened to 1/3 it was supposed to use to fund subsidy?

when you Nigeria has been using a "chunk of our FX to defend Naira", that "chunk", can you put a value to it?

now that the "chunk" has been removed, where is the chunk, what has been done with it and what is the result of removing the chunk?

which countries do not defend their currencies against the dollar or other currencies?

according to you "things are difficult at the moment,". are things difficult for Tinubu and his ministers, federal and state legislators and state governors? are things difficult for Dangote who engages in arbitrary cement price increase?

His words: “We are interacting with critical stakeholders to ensure that there is no exportation of LPG.

“All LPG produced within the country will have to be domesticated. And when this is done, the volume will increase and of course, the price will automatically crash.

“I am in contact with the regulation, NMDPRA, we hold meetings almost on daily basis, and the producers such as Mobil, Chevron, and Shell. So there is that hope that things will turn around. We don’t need to make noise about it.”

From the above statement, they are yet to even implement it.

What are they waiting for

because at no time was Nigeria exporting gas to anybody

I think we export to spain, china and portugal. Also that of Morocco and Europe is on the pipeline. Gaskiya for the flared gas i dont know. Serious investment is needed in that sector like I said earlier, we need investors to tap our gas potentials.

you "think" or you know that Nigeria exports cooking gas to Spain, China and Portugal?

what do you mean by "also that of Morocco and Europe is on the pipeline"?

so Nigeria exports cooking gas to these countries (which you are not even sure of) but yet the same Nigeria imports 60% of its cooking gas.

does what you are saying make sense?

if you dont know about "flared gas", then which investors are you talking about and which grammar is this one you are speaking?
