I agree and that's why am not too comfortable with the way CAF is going about this VAR, that goal against Barca will not stand in the Afcon competition but what can we do I hope things will go in our favour. I am sure this is why Paseiro was furious against the officials in the final.

Really? This is uniquely your own view oo. I don't see any factual basis for it. Nwabali yells at his teammates. Is that one also pride?

Your logic appears to be the more he screams, the less goals he's score because of his pride. The less he screams, the more goals he'd score because of his humility.

Yet having watched several interviews of Osimhen, he comes across as a really down to earth sort of person. In fact in his last interview, even his interlocutors commended his humility.

I will tell you something about long passes. Oliseh was a peach with his long passes. Infact out of the 9 goals or so we scored at Afcon 94, he was directly responsible for 6.

Now was that the only quality Oliseh brought to the team? So in this age of football which has progressed far beyond what the game was in 94, all you want is for a player to just be pinging long passes.

I like old football and old footballers. It holds romantic charm which modern football lacks. Sometimes I feel I don't like football anymore but that's not true. I still like it. I don't just like modern football. It's too sanitized, too clean, too crisp, too unimaginative and robotic.

Ronaldinho was the last of the romantic kind of players. Once Messi retires, we will only be telling our children that this is not how chicken used to taste oo. That before it was sweeter than the bland mass of flesh they now eat. 🤣🤣🤣
