Well I am from Edo. Edo doesn't place heavy premium on language competency or names as the three major tribes - Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa. That action singularly finished Nigeria. Ighodaro seems the most competent looking at their CV. I don't know if any Nigerian still have the kind heart to help their people again. If we judge by professional capability and antecedent, Ighodaro is miles ahead of the others.

Those things don't matter in Edo. The guy is just canvassing for his APC candidate. Akpata has a stronger chance than the APC guy sef.

The advantage of the APC guy is Oshiomhole's stronghold in Etsako but that still depends on them quickly mending fences with Oshiomole.
