Aketi was never a weakling, but simply a lovely man that loved humanity where no boundaries exist.
he provided a strong leadership aimed at stopping the daily massacre of Nigerians across the nation by the notorious and privileged Fulani -herdsmen terrorists, while someone else was mischievously asking , where are the cows ?
Aketi was a great man and would have made a more better president than this clueless emilokan man, unfortunately Nigeria have a way of destroying her best while uplifting her most debased and evil leaders.
May his soul eternally rest in perfect peace .

I can bet that this woman used to beat Aketi when Aketi was alive. The way she controls Aketi said it all.
Which one think is better, A man been controlled by his wife but never have a broken home and a house that the man is always in charge but the house has a broken or never anything good as been a governor? IF MY WIFE WILL CONTROL OR BEAT ME AND I WILL ACHIVE HAPPY HOME AND BECOME A GOVERNOR OF MY STATE, I WANT THAT WOMAN.

Read the OP and the comments on this thread. It is what it is.
Seen. Not surprise anyway. It's pretty obvious the kind of woman she is. She used Akeredolu's love to make him susceptible to her demands. This is usually what happens when one partner loves, more than the other. It's not just her, I've seen countless women do this, it seems like a trademark to them.

It is even repulsive the way she's trying to claim the victim in her tribute. Why state all that nonsense about people who beat their wives bla bla bla, what has that got to do with her tribute to her husband?
Re: Akeredolu’s Wife, Betty Writes Tribute To Her Late Husband by zoedew: 8:19am On Feb 24
Mockery was your lottery outcome back in time when you chose to chop up a lovely life Aketi was. Not only were you godless ( it's your inalienable right to so choose), you imprisoned your husband! Now you can live the frustrated life of the Prison Warder who has no inmate to lock up!

I love that line, she's throwing shade at her husband's successor Ayedatiwa. You are not a real African man if you don't beat your wife and go hard on her all the time. The moment you are loving and caring then get ready to be mocked and call silly names by these set of men

Women are more autocratic than men, if given the opportunity.

Mockery was your lottery outcome back in time when you chose to chop up a lovely life Aketi was. Attention is not diverted from the bad wife you were to Aketi. Wife-beating is not the issue here. It is acknowledged in the world of the sane that no real man beats a woman not to talk of his wife. Face your family issues! The Deji of Akure who descended so low as to beat his wife even publicly was dethroned with ignominy and now lives an anonymous life in misery! You should consider getting remarried to him since you are older than him! He should beat the daylight out of you! It was a Red herring you threw talking about men who beat their wives. Were you not unfaithful to Aketi when he needed your undivided attention the most? You abandoned him for birthday celebrations, politics and Ondo power politics and money! The Akeredolu family, in deference to the bad choice Aketi made in you for a wife, have chosen to mourn their loss quietly. It is apparent they chose not to wash their dirty linen, which you are, in public. You were not only godless, ( it's your inalienable right to so choose), you imprisoned your husband! Now you can live the frustrated life of the Prison Warder who has no inmate to lock up! Among the wives of Aketi's siblings you stuck out like a sore thumb and that has not given you cause for introspection so you can amend your ways. Live with the mockery the godless deserve! The foolish says in her heart that there is no God!

Hmmm. May God console her.
God console who denies God exists! Please read the first few lines of the purported tribute. That woman was godless. Little wonder she cared less what anyone thought about her manner of behavior in her marriage especially in the twilight of Aketi's life. I can only salute Akin Olujimi SAN for effectively managing to keep Betty out of the Professional relationship he had with her husband who was his partner in the successful Law Firm of Akeredolu and Olujimi while he lived.

Very useless woman. Is this a tribute, or is she just mocking the dead? AKETI was a great man, but he died this way because he didn't have a home. His wife and son, who should have been beside him in all his travails, were busy chasing shadows, struggling for money in Akure, while the man languished under a life-saving machine in Germany. She was even seriously planning a loud 70th birthday last August before President Tinubu had to advise her to shelve it when she was deaf to voices of reason from all angles. Not even the highly referred Olowo of Owo KIngdom could dissuade the foolish woman to shelve that celebration of frivolity. This is the same woman who went to Imo State to contest for election against the advice of her husband; she started raining curses on Gov. Hope Uzodinma when she lost woefully. Pray never to have a bad wife; it is deadlier than cancer.
Bullseye 🎯!

Because you and flokii came from a violence home doesn't make anyone, I've never beat my wife before but I do scold her privately, does that mean If I don't beat her then there is possibility that she's the one beating me, that's how senseless you people can be

I love my wife and I will go hard on anyone that disrespect her because the love she had for me, mine is not even up to, so keep off the rubbish of seeing men that show affection to their wives are weakling, even you a man can't withstand me when it comes to fight not to talk of woman that I won't even use two hands to discipline
You just fell for Betty's Red herring! One of the reasons she went that route is to divert attention from her mistreatment of Aketi who evidently loved her so much in his lifetime. She was unfaithful to him in the wee hours of his life when he needed her the most! With Betty it would not have made any difference if he did Driving not love her as widely acclaimed and beat her! Betty could have been Yoruba for all I care! She is just Betty!! The godless one!!! Jezebel!!! That way folks can keep talking about wife-beaters and tribal intermarriage issues and omit to x-ray her malfeasance!

She was giving account of her relationship with her late husband, how proud she is of him. Every woman will talk like that. I understand that many of you were infuriated by the way Aketi loved his wife. Funny enough, you don't even know how much misfortune you attract to yourselves as a consequence of that.

Thankfully, she has given a clear evidence to God for the judgment of her husband in heaven. Many of you tribalists who have married from your tribes will surely not benefit as such from your wives at your trial in heaven.

Just one question. Did you read the tribute?
If yes, do you think she did the right thing writing all she wrote?
Please be fair and objective in your response.

This woman no try. Even at the husband's burial, she was busy with war drums instead of being sober and making peace. I'm Igbo, but I can not support such a cantankerous woman. I think her emotions are in power, avarice and money and may not really have loved the man. So sad.
