Unfortunuately by the time they are done, the average person selling in the market, will not be able to afford the rentall cost for their shops again

This has been the trend for many rebuilt markets

Ariaria is a very lucrative market and serious businesses will adapt.

If our politicians will have
the continuation plans from the previous administration it would have been good thing.

They also lack maintenance plans.

The maintenance of the facilities will be handled by the private company rebuilding it. It’s up to the traders to report the company to the government if the facility is not well maintained.

Hope there's provision for underground drainage this market flood heavily during the rainy seasons?

It will be a waste of money and resources if they didn’t plan drainage well. I am sure they did.

This is just the first phase of redevelopment of Ariaria Market. There will be phased demolition and rebuilding of the whole market.

I give credit to Ikpeazu and I pray and hope Otti will continue from where he stopped.
nice one

There are levels to these things. This will make transactions in that market seamless. Igbos are awakening!

Otti will definitely continue with the project, if you inherit good project from your predecessor no matter how bad and corrupt he is, as a visionary successor you have to continue with the project.

I’ve always said it that what killed ikpeazu administration was the lack of PR is not that he didn’t do well in some areas just that most people hated the government that they didn’t see any thing good from it
ABIA state is not as bad as people portray it to be

Let’s walk down the memory lane. Aba people suffered years of neglect with the old Ariaria market and complaints were made to various administrations to fix Ariaria market. They all ignored it. But to his biggest credit Ikpeazu realized that the anger that the neglect of Ariaria market is generating towards him was reaching a boiling point. All over social media, Ndigbo complained and tried to shame him. It worked.
How much is the cost of the remodeling project at Ariaria by abeg? How much is this project costing the people of Abia? undecided

Ikpeazu worked out a PPP deal with the private sector for a phased redevelopment of Ariaria Market.
So, it was the former governor and not this present Governor that worked out this deal and eventually got this built to the picture you posted, right? undecided
