Wellllll

He is doing what he can do shaaa

But
He is not touching the right places IMHO
There are so many places in Lagos that are best known as "Trenches"
He has ignored all those places for years.
Instead he focused his attention on the places where the rich commonly live.
The best Governor of Lagos State would be the Governor who brings major developments to the "Trenches"

Though, Mr Sanwo Olu is doing the best he is capable of doing 😇✨
You wrong bro
Have you seen Agege
Have you seen Ile epo
Extremely massive project

Green & Purple Rail on your marks, Red Line get set, Blue Rail go!

Lagos State government has commenced talks with private investors for feasibility studies as the construction of the Green and Purple rail lines systems are set to be completed in three and half years.

Managing Director, Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) Engr. Abimbola Akinajo, who disclosed this at a briefing in Lagos yesterday, said the project was part of activities marking the 20 years of LAMATA’s operations.

Green Line
The Green Line is a 68 kilometers rail designed to run through Marina, Victoria Island, Lekki Phase 1, Ajah, Lekki 2, Ogombo, Elepetu, Eluju, Lekki Airport and Lekki Free Trade Zone.

It is projected to carry over 500k passengers per day for a start, rising to over a milli0n in 2031.

Purple Line
Similarly, the Purple line is a 60 kilometers rail designed to run through Redemption Camp, Mowe, Long Bridge, Isheri, Magodo Toll Gate, Omole, Ogba, Agege, Iyana Ipaja, Isheri Osun, Igando, Iba, Estate, LASU, Okokomaiko and Ojo.

LAMATA has outlined the routes and the projected daily capacity for the six rail systems and they are differentiated by these colour codes;

Green line - due in 2028
Purple line - due in 2028
Yellow line
Orange line
Blue line - in active service
Red line - next for commissioning

LAMATA MD said “The Green and Purple are the two rail lines to come on-stream next after the Blue Rail-Line.”

Trains are more expensive than Buses, the world over.

Even more than plane tickets in some places.

Very commendable. However, Nigeria does not have a proven record of maintaining core infrastructure very well. Check back in 12 months and see if things are not falling apart.

Yeah you're correct. Nigeria has a poor maintenance record but you see Lagos, those trains would be maintained so well even for years to come.

Please leave Lagos to compare with cities like Abuja and port harcourt , all of which were developed mainly by Ndigbos…Bring on any of the core yoruba states like oyo, ogun, ondo, ekiti and osun for comparisons .

Where did I mention Igbo in my post?

The funny thing about running mad is that people who get to experience it see it as their normal reality.
You'll think you're at home eating bread when you're butt naked in the market, eating foam and throwing stones at people.

Seun, you should use Reddit more often to see how to properly moderate an online forum. Your own is to come here and drop notice and ginger small whenever your site is down. But you can't ban and blacklist the IP addresses of people constituting nuisance like this Yarimo here. Walk the talk my man.
See how they're rubbishing your site.
