AkinDS: On Esther, I'm open to being proven wrong quite frankly, but the evidence so far says the contrary. Will keep my eyes out however so I can see what you guys see. Maybe your use of the qualifier "deceptively" is something I can concede to. On Ajibade, I totally agree with what you said which gives credence to my need for her to "do more". I'm afraid your understanding of "do more" is contextually different from what I meant. I also agree that we should do better with South Africa. Cameroon is in my opinion a great test for the team and they didn't do badly quite frankly. 1 Like |

Wasn’t too impressed with Ucheibe - good ball winner but makes far too many mistakes with the ball. Her passing is certainly suspect, especially when she tries to be creative. Would play Abiodun, Echegini and Halimatu to start against SA. On the right wing, I think Onumonu might also be a credible option. We also need Nicole Payne back. Rofiat was constantly being molested by the Cameroonians as she was too lightweight for that position. Deltamani: 1 Like |

AkinDS: It’s obvious that Ajibade main weakness is her ball hogging.. Simple pass would’ve sorted things out but she will still hog on the ball which she find her way into the midfield and then lose the ball.. Esther have never been a slow player, her technical abilities also gives her an edge over our other No.9 With the way Uchenna Kanu is misbehaving, I will definitely have Payne on the Right Flank as she has the pace, skills, ball sense and also offers a lot from set pieces but again she doesn’t have that Physical Strength to contend against Physical oppositions, reason I love Stella Mbachu so much, she goes for the most physical defenders (that lady get iron 4 body) 1 Like |

What a coincidence! Super Eagles played Cameroon and South Africa at AFCON 2023 and won. Now Super Falcons have played Cameroon and won and will hopefully play South Africa in Paris 2924 Olympics qualifiers (and win). Super Eagles will be playing South Africa later in June for world cup qualifiers 2026 and Super Falcons will play same South Africa in April for a spot for Olympic qualifiers 6 Likes 2 Shares |

AkinDS: Nicole Payne offers more as she can play on both Flanks, though her natural position is the Right Back. She can alternate for Alozie and Plumptre! In terms of Athleticism and Physicality she’s way ahead of Imuran. Have seen her overlapping runs which are very good just that her lack of Playing time is affecting her. 1 Like |

PDPGuy: Sorry to ask, but what are you smoking? Must be the real stuff! How can you prefer Ayinde to Ucheibe in the midfield? Doesn't the fact that Waldrum paired Ucheibe and Abiodun in midfield (after starting three of them in Cameroon), reveal his preferred players there? I don't think it was a coincidence that the midfield collapsed when Ucheibe was moved to the defence to replace Demehin. Ayinde may be better in combative situations but Ucheibe's overall game is better, including her passing. She was even involved in the build up to the goal, she laid a neat pass for Echegini on the wing. |

AkinDS: We have personnel to play 343 352 4231 or 4321 I don't like Toni on wing. Her beside JOE with Esther in front looks more fun. But again, there Ajibade. One thing about Ucheibe game is she can play defense too. So she's most likely a starter vs SA. Imuran na another case entirely. What's wrong with her? As for Zee, i dunno what to say. Randy should use her as deem fit. |
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 9:11pm On Feb 26 |
pleroma: I don’t want to argue on this ooo cause the two players we’re talking about here in terms of Passing game… Ucheibe no gooo oooo… Ayinde is Far Far Better with better experience and also the ability to get out of tight Corners than Ucheibe..! But in terms of the ground Cover during game Ucheibe gets it but not much distance… Ucheibe is 5yrs Younger thuoo |

Deltamani: I trust he'll handle that aspect well. But these girls need some chemistry overall. Especially transitioning to attack. The wingers run aren't always followed. Once again, a lack of a proper 9 overall. JOE and Ashleigh had some good chemistry today anyways. Ajibade gave like a 6.0/10 performance to me. Rough play to blame? One gots know the ref got their back in such game so one doesn't commit and gets no justice. Nobody was carded for the Ohale stamp. Very annoying. 1 Like |

Fun facts: The last time the Super Falcons lost an Olympic qualifier was back in August 2015: a 2-1 loss to Equatorial Guinea. The Super Falcons have also not lost a home World Cup qualifier since the 1-0 loss to Ghana at the 2002 WAFCON in Delta state. Since FIFA introduced the specific Olympic qualification tournament for the 2004 Olympics, the team have not lost a home Olympics qualifier, spanning 11 matches Since that defeat, the SF have gone 6 OQM without defeat.. 1 Like |

do4luv14:The conclusion from this highlight is simple for me This 2024, Super Falcons must get a natural 9 back into the fold!! No more makeshifts! Enough is enough. The attributes we need for the 9 is not in the current squad. Simple! We've gotten a packed midfield with loaded quality. It is only reasonable we get a 9 that will compliment the technical prowess of these midfielders. This is non-negotiable!! |

AkinDS: I watched this again more than 5times and come to the conclusion, the centre refree is to blame, It's the way She handle the game by being biased to our ladies, that gave the cameroun ladies the confidence to do such rubbish, The first time they try it, she should had given them a direct red, even the rescues was suppose to be 2, the First Lady that attack Nnadozie, and that idiot that wanted to run and put their voodoo, both should had been send off CAF need investigate this 1 Like |
