Most times we the citizen think the problem is always from the top. One thing we forget is that the state governors are the major problem of economic woes we are facing.

If at all 35k palliative will be paid to state workers, it may be March, obviously the economy has collapsed palliative approved since last year by federal government has to be paid. The rivers state government has fixed the money in the bank for months and have made millions as interest, hence no reason for them to delay paying 35k for just a period of 6months.

Banks do not give much interest on deposit. Some give 5% while some give 3% ,it's only few banks give up to 6% or above but it can't be more thank 10% for less than a year deposit and it ll be under negotiation.. Banks give loan to their customers on 20% interest rate per month but collect deposit for less than 5% or at most 10% for one year interest rate. You can see that they make extra profit from the deposit. ei if someone borrow 100k from the bank, he ll pay back 120k in one month. But, someone who deposit 100k in the bank ll get 105k in one year. Invariably 15k is shared between the commercial bank and the central bank every month as profit from the deposit

Well explained! The palliative money was in hundreds of millions and they fixed it for months now imagine the interests it will yield the governor and politicians loyal to him. Massive money in millions.
What month was palliative approved and money given to all state government calculate the interest accrued from then till January 2024.

As for me, I don't have time to willingly participate in anything that concerns NUT because the Union is as good as useless .
