working from home as an introvert is actually not a good idea the little relationship you use to have with people in the office is underestimated. started working from home in 2020. my social life is totally gone.

I m looking for your kind of job self, go out in evening or weekend to flex .

I understand where you’re coming from because I have been working from home for the past 4 years too. It can get very boring. I’m married and my wife goes to work. I have a car but hardly drives it unless I want to go buy something. Now, I’m considering renting an office space just to go out of the house daily. I have someone working for me remotely but I’m considering hiring someone to work in-office. I know all these will be more expenses but I will do them just to go out daily.

I will also suggest that freelancers and people that work from home should have like a Facebook or WhatsApp group to chitchat and make friends. That will also help. If you’re in PH we can be friends.

Why this misconception about working from home?
You could work anywhere at any fucking time. You can get yourself an office outside your home. You can work in bar, eatery… any fucking place. It does not mean your room walls.
Invite a bitch over. Go to clubs. No one is stopping you.
Make things happen for yourself and not depend on office girls or work before you have a romance or drive your cars and ball around on weekends

Honestly, as sweet as working from home might sound, I don't think I can do it...

I quickly get bored if I'm at home, that why I hardly collect my annual leave..

I only apply for it so that I will be able to collect my leave allowance, and once it is paid, I resumed back to work..

Even some Saturdays I come to work, because I always quickly get bored

You must be very young and still full of the spirit of "go outside". I did the whole office thing in my twenties and thirties, and now, working from home is bae. Well, if you're stuck working from home, I think you can take out a day a week, maybe Saturday, since traffic is less, to hang out and go where you like. Plus Sunday church, that should be enough.
