Belgium is fast turning out to be a breeding/Yalent factory for us,
it hv always been

Years back Belgium served as a starting point in europe for our players

The likes of keshi, eguavoen,Celestine Babayaro, sunday oliseh, Chidi Nwanu, Siasia, Amokachi,Ndidi etc started their European club football career in Belgium 🇧🇪

That Trend seems to had been stopped for quite a long while, While the lure of EPL pushing many of our players away from there,

And VO seems to had nearly follow route of Oliseh, just that I had no idea if Oliseh played in France, before moving to Italy, or I don't remember if he played in those 2 countries

John Mikel Obi on Osimhen 🗣“I'm Victor's agent, I keep messaging him. Osimhen looked at London, you wanna live there rather than a place like Liverpool or somewhere else.

He has a lot of interest, PSG, Man United and Arsenal, but I keep telling him to narrow his mind on one thing, 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐋𝐔𝐄𝐒."(ViaJacobsBen)

Yea you are right. Oliseh didn’t play in France. I think after his time in Belgium he moved to Italy Abi Germany before joining Ajax

He had 2 stints in Seria A and 3 in Bundelisga, first with Reggiana and the other with Juve and in Germany with Koln, Dortmund and Bochum

After leaving Bochum he returned to Belgium to play for Genk for a season before retiring

Mikel should know that Chelsea of before is no longer the Chelsea of now, even since the departure of the Russian and Israeli man, Roman Abramovich, Chelsea has returned to the status it was before it was acquired by him.

Chelsea greatly prospered under the administration of Roman Abramovich, because the Jews have that blessing from God to prosper in anywhere they find themselves.

Do Napoli still chant Osimhen's name after scoring?

Yeah but during their home games

How can someone be so consistently against his fellow country man?
To prove what point exactly?
And after proving the point, shey them dey give medal or bank alert?

Why the negative energy?
Some peeps are born that way ,,, Just naturally evil minded …

I have someone like him at my work place ,,, he has been sacked in many organizations due to that attitude, though he got talent so that’s working for him but in a short period, he’ll become an irritant that for the first time one will wish his fellow man evil or death …

This nuisance man at my work place castigated the eagles 🦅 sothe, he’ll be mocking we eagles supporters. He’ll come before every match and say today you guys go cry 😭,,, When we got to finals you won’t believe this man posted eagles and was saying “ he believes in them from day one “ jubilating all over his media space … My colleagues had to call me to ask if this man his mentally stable ? 🤣🤣

When we lost the final , he came back again and said you see I told you’ll to thread carefully,, that can we see they disappointed as usual ! We had to report him to the director and we dragged him so much that he hated himself. Imagine a 43 yrs old man 👴

many folks here re like that

If u can remember certain monickers were mute and disappeared from this thread when the super eagles were having a smooth run until they lost in the finals they all resurfaced criticizing the players and Jpes tactical approach

They are the set of pple I named “Shebi I tell una” gang 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Their leader is thegoodjoe, even if the team went on to win the afcon he won’t be impressed since they didn’t win it with tiki taka style of football with Nwakali the main orchestrator in midfield 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Elf isn’t like that just that he suffered so many heartbreak via his expectations in the team in the past which made him turn bad 🤣🤣🤣

He forgot that no national team is stable, good and bad runs will surely happen. Few footballing power house today are a shadow of themselves while few lesser ones hv grown in strength and quality

to them e dey easy. If they can’t respect Osimhen who hv scored more than African legends like Weah and Eto’o in the history of Serie A, single handedly won the scudetto for Napoli after over 3 decades as well as winning the APOTY that a Nigerian player last won 1999 I wonder what else the guy hv to do to earn their respect

You just like typing my name.

I have never changed my stance. I love the offensive-possessive game to a fault. I believe in it and believe in a long-term strategy. I do not like short wins but like long-term dominance. So, even if we went on to win the AFCON, I won't be impressed because I don't believe it is a long-term approach for dominance. More like luck to win.

I did not talk much because I did not want to spoil the spirit and joy going on. People get happy when they win. I get happy when we play in an offensive style. Win or lose is not my priority but seeing the team grow in play.

Most importantly, it gets the best from the players in the long run.

Finito.

When the team list was done, and we were in camp, there was little contribution that could be made. However, after the competition, I can come back to make contribution of my expected trajectory of the team.

Our country is blessed with human resources. Sad we have retrogressive people in the corridors of power where we can make a real impact. God bless these young warriors and grant them a great future ahead. So proud of them.

Osimhen should go and work with Arteta. He has a game plan and a huge ambition. Let him go to someone who can actually teach him some creative ideas. Arteta is fantastic. I also like Enrique too.

Win or lose should be your priority in senior team football though seeing a team play in a very organized way gives joy …sincerely am not impressed with our styles during Afcon and only impressed with Cameroon match. The team need to do more in the midfield.
