An average Nigerian is a comported thief irrelevant of religion, tribe , or family background this is a natural DNA of people of this country
This nation was not built properly. Indegenous people are expected to change into white man's democracy.?
That's why we have all these problems..
-
In Canada, the white men colonised there and almost killed off all the native indegenes. They developed the place.
In USA, the white men settled there and almost killed off the natives, so they can develop US.
I south Africa, white men settled there and wanted to kill off all the blacks, the natives. But they faced resistance. Today all the whites there live in shame and fear for their genocidal activities.
In Nigeria, they came again to colonise. But mosquitoes and malaria drove them away. If not, they will have killed off all of us black people. Then, they, white people, will be the ones here.
Is that what you want?
Why can't white men, live black people and other tribes and villages to live their life how they like? Why must white man alway pokenose and try to distabilise or destroy anything that does not follow his white ways?
Re: 70 Percent Of Financial Crimes In Nigeria Connected To Banks - EFCC by epainos: 8:22am On Mar 05
Exactly. And those guys are the ones destroying our economy and currency. I said it. The person who will make Nigeria better will fight the banking sector thieves to stand still. He must be ready to prevent himself from being assassinated cos they will do everything possible to eliminate him.

Can Obi do it? Nope. Can Atiku do it? Capital no. Obviously Tinubu cannot...he called the same people he ought to fight to solve our crisis. Lol. We just dey start na.

Yes, because the so called chairmen or managing director of all Nigerian banks are fraudsters so why won't they allow or hire fraudsters like themselves?

The banks, not the politicians are Nigeria's greatest problem. If we can have a good and sincere banking system, the country's economy will be amongst the best. Nigerians are generally industrious, but don't have capital base. Elsewhere banks gives loans to citizens to start up businesses at a very low and reasonable interest rate and flexible repayment plan. In Nigeria, when you take any loan from banks you will be made to pay almost 100% of interest over time.
I laughed when some people will campaign of turning Nigeria from a consuming to a manufacturing country. With the current set of these banks?
It is the banking sector in Nigeria that needs a complete overhauling before any economic progress can be achieved.

If EFCC is aware of that, why are they not going after bank officials? How many bank, Chairmen, MDs, managers and officials have been investigated, arrested and prosecuted?
We all know the problems with Nigeria, what we want to see are actions.

People underestimate the contributions of the banking sector in the destruction of the Nigerian economy. Also most all crimes (with the exception of petty crimes like armed robbery) can't happen without the involvement of banks. Even ransome from kidnappings pass through the banks. If you Sanitise the banks, half of Nigeria's problem is solved.

Coming to talk here is a sign of failure, its madness for people to think these corruption doesn't affect them. Every penny that is taking out of this country affect you. EFCC that should be the champion of this are chasing YAHOO boys. They are the only once bringing foreign exchange to this country politicians are taking away our reserves. I'm not encouraging YAHOO YAHOO pls. Economic part of their name is what they are supposed to focus on and let small police deal with YAHOO boys.

EVERYBODY KNOWS THE BANKS NEED TO BE SANITIZED.

HOWEVER, WE DO NOT KNOW HOW MUCH THEY CONTRIBUTED TO THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS.

WILL THE GOVERNMENT SACRIFICE A FEW BANKERS FOR THE GOOD OF 300 MILLION NIGERIANS ?

WE ARE YET TO SEE THE HAMMER DROP ON THE BANKING SECTOR.

Customers ke? Watin concern CBN with customers? CBN is more interested in protecting the interest of politicians, then the interest of banks. Banks can steal, defraud and abuse ordinary Nigerians as far as CBN is concerned.

We know already but can't do anything, but I think it's good that the authorities know also and know how to deal with that since they have the powers.

I remembered during soludo when bank robbery was much and every where and almost everyday, they came up with the policy that any bank that was rubbed will have the Manager arrested and prosecuted and sincerely the robbery incidence reduces seriously. Because Then, robbers will steal 30 million the manager will document over 50millon.

So, we ask them to take concrete action in resolving the issue by actively engaging those redundant bank staffs affected by mergers

Wetin bank wan do? They are private profit making organizations. They don’t operate as security agencies.
We have security agencies go after them. Checkmate the banks found wanting and the criminals and stop talking thrash.
I think it's deeper than just doing that.
When the EFCC start pulling, lots of things will be unearthed that can destroy the nation.
Imagine just the Dangote issue alone, he ran to America strike a deal that he will be buying their oil, in order to get a some immunity for his atrocity in the forex. The secretary came running to Nigeria and now everyone is silent.
Imagine the revelation from Bode George about the bank chiefs, all stupendous trillioniares at the expense of the common Nigerian and the Nigerian nation.

All this including our fantastically corrupt civil service are among the numerous issue bedeviling Nigeria.

What can be done
1- those bank chief must be called to account just as bode George suggested. They have got to part with more with minimal of 75%
2- Dangote and the other 50 the EFCC are looking into must be made to part with more than 75%
3- the civil service must move from carrying file about to use of IT
Re: 70 Percent Of Financial Crimes In Nigeria Connected To Banks - EFCC by Donchieli: 9:55am On Mar 05
The said authorities you are talking about either own the bank or have the highest stake in the bank shares

And that's how de enrich themselves

You think they will bring in policies that will affect their income?

Why do u think no sector in Nigeria is working, datz bcuz the people who are suppose to protect ur interest are heavily invested in those sectors hence the protect their investment

In saner climes public office holders /public officers have no business with business in any capacity at all be it as a stakeholder or director level

You either do one of the both
