This thing nigerian government is doing. I no understand again.

If they put the rate at 5% they know it will be oversubscribed.

What are they really doing with these rates

Bold of you think they will have 1.5 trillion subs if the rate was 5%.

This was from 2021.

I just pulled out funds from mutual funds to chase Treasury Bills. I mustn't miss from these juices.
Mutual funds is piss poor (MMF to be precise). They are offering between 12-13% when tbills is at 21%.

Investors in money market mutual funds should start considering tbills option asap and lock in those sweet rates for 365days before rate drops.

It all depends on the rate and duration. You can send me a mail.

Let’s say 5-10m for 91 days at 17% ,how much is the return going to be ?

Let us use simple interest to calculate.
5000000*17*91/100*365=211, 917. Then 10%wht factored on interest amount.

Higher principal and tenure gives you higher rate.

5m = 212,000 approx
10m - 423,000 approx

Mine was successful but I put in 5m for 364 days and I was credited 745k there abouts. However, my certificate came with the rates at 15.5% and the tenor 354 days or so. Am I missing something??
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by enque(f): 5:48am On Mar 07
Are you sure it's not secondary tbills you bought?
