Someone that his funeral was graced with prominent and dignitaries was not a great man Abi?

Ok tell me one reason why this man wasnt a great person to be honoured this way. You talking about how he acquired his wealth right, have you heard of him been involved in dubious means ? If he was tell me. For me until I see one reason why he didn't deserve this honour wont say otherwise

you have not answered my questions so what are you asking?

how does a funeral being "graced with prominent and dignitaries" automatically translate to great?

great? how was he great?

how is that wealthy?

the way some of you celebrate rich people in this country without really asking what was the source of their wealth is amazing.

There's no tribalism or religious brouhaha up there, it's up for the downtrodden to sort themselves out.
God bless you .You know well how Nigeria operates.
It is left for the poor irrespective of their tribe to open their eyes

how did him acquired Access bank from intercontinental bank. Story for another day

After akingbola of intercontinental bank gave wigwe and his friend AIG loan of 17billion to acquire access bank, the teamed up with sanusi when he was made cbn governor , to steal intercontinental bank from akingbola , despite been one of the most performing banks, and sold it off to cronies, awigwe and his frnd AIG never paid back the 17billion loan, FEAR MAN, Rip to the dead
They collected loan from Intercontinental bank to stay afloat and recapitalize, and during the recapitalisation proper they teamed up with Sanusi who thereafter declared the bank distressed and sold it off to Access bank. It was a case of a tilapia swallowing a whale, and the greatest fraud to ever happen in the Nigeria banking industry.
For me I think his death was pure karma, and till date nothing has being heard of Akingbola

Right on point! Only the masses fight to death over the elites of this nation. People who don't care about their existence. sad

Na today. Sanusi colleted Intercontinental bank and sold it cheap to Wigwe.

Indirectly, Wigwe is paying him back for selling bigger Intercontinental bank to micky mouse Access bank.

This is the case of Snake swallowing elephant.

From you statement, it is obvious you are the tribalist and not Sanusi.

The lastt thing anybody can deduce from his actions was that he was prejudiced.

It was his straight talking sytyle that made the governor of Kano dethrone him. He was a very bitter critic of Buharis economic policies. Would you say he hates Ganduje and Buhari because they are Igbo?

It was under him that cashless banking started. His people would be the biggest losers and still are of this policy.

[quote author=olaboy33 post=128816401]Apparently, Wigwe was the go to guy when the super rich have money problems.

Just like Raymond Reddington, he solves problems which makes him very endearing.

Money runs the world, and money revolves around a bank, and he was in charge of one of the biggest bank in the country.[ You sabi wella.

Abegi, suggest any series of movie that will match this Blacklist in terms of story line.

I will suggest that you see The last ship too]

Omo this Wigwe was a silent achiever and hugely connected.

Wigwe fronted the Purchase of the far bigger and more valuable intercontinental Bank by Access Bank for Sanusi and Saraki former Senate President according to a Rumour

Sanusi was still the Central Bank Governor at the time

This admission only gives the Rumour more weight

You obviously did not get the morale of the story,

you deployed the usual local sentiments of the less privileged Nigerian!

There is no religion, ethnicity divide amongst fellow rich Nigerians, they are same family whilst the crowd fight one another over where they come from!!!
Crowd mentality

Sanusi and Herbert must have also bonded when he was CBN Governor. At the top, it is not about tribe, religion, white, black, south or North. It’s about value added relationships which comes from a place of achieving personal success. For example Coming from the South east does not mean you can have access to Inosson or orji Uzor Kalu ahead of otedola, Elemelu, dangote, Adenuga, Sanusi and the likes. Let us work hard and leave sentiments

Your Ex-Highness,

This your story is one-sided and grossly incomplete.

What role did you play in the acquisition of Intercontinental Bank Plc with over 300 branches by Access Bank with about just 20 branches when Herbert Wigwe was the Deputy Managing Director of Access Bank?

Tell us that part if you want us to take you serious; otherwise what you are telling us is just a case of 'you grease my hands, I grease yours in return'.

I come in peace.
