Jodera:

Lol, I take the bolded that the only time you do watch him is in cup finals (which had been always against Chelsea)

Allison has had long term injuries like twice or thrice. If you'd been watching Liverpool's league games, you won't be saying the bolded. Yes, He's that good!!

And as for best No 2, I said "arguably" meaning you can argue it if you say Ramsdale is better than him (afterall Ramsdale just became no2 this season)
You know the issue I have with you
You sabi use style turn amala, ramsdale have been our second keeper since raya came in which one is he just become second keeper like na yesterday they confirmed it

Instead make Jodera just accept say he didn't actually have Ramsdale in mind when he made that post; he's turning Amala.

Lol.... Issorait. You're right

The whole issue I'm even trying to pass across is that Kelleher is a very very good goalkeeper for Liverpool to miss Allison.

Probably yeah, but then I wasn't really dragging who's better between Ramsdale and Kelleher. My crunch point is that Allison won't be really missed as long as Kelleher is manning the post cos he's really really good.

That was 2020/21 where the finished 3rd.

And yeah, Allison went injured as at October and they were still top of the table till Jan with Kelleher keeping. The only reason why they conceded goals like mad was when all their defenders had injuries that Midfielders like Fabinho and Milner started playing CBs and they significantly dropped out of even top 4. It was towards the end when Neco Williams, Philips and Kabak(natural defenders) started playing defence they clawed their way back from 5/6th to 3rd

This season or the 20/21 season?

That season they went trophiless ooo.

If it's this season, you should know the present junks of Chelsea are overpriced amateurs with just few exceptions.

This squad that won Chelsea recently in finals can't beat that Chelsea of dem Tuchel that played those finals. Lai lai

Bros all this na shalaye na wetin they vex me for here
He spent 700m the most any arsenal manager will we deserve something to show for it simple
If not he's a failure and should be sacked

What then should our noisy neighbor do to their manager? despite over 1billion spent, they are still struggling to win the midtable.

We all want to win something tangible this season, but fact remains that Arteta has made our team very competitive, no team (anywhere in the world) will not dread to meet this current Arsenal squad, not even City.... compare to few years before Arteta came or the early years of Arteta. Let's give him some credit for what he has achieved so far while asking for more...

I pray we win something, but even if not, sacking him might takes us years back and I wonder if there is any better manager that will be willing to leave his current job and come to Arsenal.

First of all we are not them and we don't have that kind of money to be blowing around
We all know how we suffered severely to get here from wengay days we lost out on trophies, then lost the top 4, then top6 etc

I understand, but in the middle of it all, we cannot deny the fact that we are making progress in the way we play, I believe Cups will surely come with this progress, if not now, certainly later.

Pep Guardiola: "Arsenal is already there, last season they were our biggest rivals."

"Look how they play. Liverpool need more than 90 minutes to win the game, Arsenal sometimes need 25 minutes to win the games." #arsenalfanaticsnews

When Pep starts praising you, you should start doubling your effort. It is not gonna be an easy ride.

Not necessarily back to square one, every manager should be prepared for a particular player leaving or not being available due to injuries or for other reasons, no matter how good the player is... If any of our current players leaves, I believe Arteta will know an equally good or better replacement.

Let us be realistic please, Arteta will need a little bit of more lucks to win trophies for as long as Pep and Klopp are still in the view... I don't know anyone among us Arsenal fans who rates Arteta in the same level with Pep and Klopp, yet many of us expect Arteta to easily win these trophies.... Pep and Klopp will not be folding their arms and just let go na.

But we should give kudos to Arteta for the fact that our team has become competitive and we are no longer any team's walkover. One thing is SURE, with the way Arteta is improving in this game, trophies are bound to come sooner or later, it is a matter of time and I am not in a hurry. It has been a long time I consistently enjoy watching my team week in week out as I am now... It is not enough for me, I want trophies on top too, but if trophies fail to come, I will still not shout Arteta-Out!

If dem dey pin messages for here like telegram, this one suppose dey pinned too.

One thing I'm certain, I know that Arteta must give us that big trophies with the way he's going. Every moves he and the team(ie scout, board and players) are taking Is gearing towards that. I don't need to see trophy first before I start praising the road we're taking to the trophies (or to get to the top). Like I said last season, I've never enjoyed arsenal as I'm enjoying now and the great part is that we aren't even at our peak yet.

What I he said was excatly the same thing I said at the end of last season , but the pain of losing the league to city made most people here to be shouting " Arteta bottled the league " up and down .

Nothing wey I no talk to make una see how far Arteta has brought the team from a team that was struggling to qualify for Europa while playing disjointed football to a team that almost run away with the league but for our ill-luck with injury & fatigue setting in.

As much as we get frustrated at times when games don't go our way or Arteta commits ocassionally gaffe ; I just laugh at times when I see suggestions like " they should sack Arteta if he doesn't win EPL or UCL this season" . I do that cos I know what the outcome of such decisions will be beforehand .

In one breath we don't rate Arteta as a genius football coach and in another breath we expect him to outsmart 19 other managers some of whom are actually world class managers .

In as much as I appreciate Arteta and his work in Arsenal, last season he messed it up after the injury of Saliba and Party. But that doesn't take away the fact that he's a fantastic manager, I don't think Arsenal will even consider sacking him even if we don't get a trophy this season, everyone is behind him and believes in him. When I see some fans shout Arteta Out I don't bother engaging them because I know even the Arsenal board won't entertain that idea. We really need Dem trophies to make everything beautiful, but even if it doesn't come this season, Arteta is still going no where, matter of fact his contract will still be extended instead of being tarminated .

Pep and K. Walker spent more time talking about Arsenal than Liverpool their opponent this weekend. One would think City is playing Arsenal this weekend.

It feels like an intentional mind game to distract us and we better not fall for it..We play Brentford and that should be our only focus right now.
