In as much as the officer was wrong, the lady was also very wrong.
1. Using her phone even with headset at a checkpoint.

2. That is a trafficking route so it was not out of place for the officer to ask for her state of origin. He was just doing his job. Imagine speaking arrogantly knowing fully well that you don't have any means of identification. That is what most people who use that route to try and go to Libya do. They claim not to have any form of identification so that they cannot be traced.

3. The lady from what she said was very rude to the officer.

I watched the video. Simple question wey the police ask her, she was forming jagaban. AM saying justifying the police for hitting her, just make we all try to dey respect ourselves. Most Nigerians are angry, how much more a police officer that is left on the highway at the mercy of bandits.
