Things have really changed nowadays. In the past, age 25 was the limit for marriage. My uncle wedded at 19 back then.

People don't find it so easy to get married these days, too many obstacles. At 30, my heart still beats when marriage cross my mind. That's why I agree with the guy in this video who says he can't marry any lady between 28-30.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cujUqQb76Xc

Most ladies don't get married at tender ages because they spend years getting educated, forgetting that they are not getting younger as days pass. Before they know it, they are 30 something already and it is then they realize they've missed out on a husband.

Sad!

30 year old women with education do not marry uneducated 19 year olds, and it's harder for the post 30 year old they do marry to exploit them.

of course women have expiry date because their value is based upon their ability to have children and create a happy family.... the minute a woman cannot have children any longer, her value diminishes greatly.

this is why so many are getting really depressed when their body clock reaches a certain period. women have bodyclock, men dont!

Let me send you my grandma's details or a former colleague's who doesn't want children so you can tell them their "value diminishes greatly" because they cannot have children any longer.

Not everyone determines a woman's value by her potential to have children, same as not every man is valued by his Benz.

someone who doesnt WANT children is different from someone who CANT have children... but as this issue is about MARRIAGE, then chances are your grandma has absolutely no value in the marriage pool.

BTW the #1 reason why Nigerian men want to get married is to START A FAMILY AND HAVE CHILDREN. if a woman cannot provide a man with children, she is considered useless and majority of Nigerian men wouldnt marry her.

The term value is relative to perspective undecided...

I for one value kids and so I wouldn't make the mistake of being with a woman who has a reduced chance or who is incapable of having kids undecided...

And last I checked, the older she gets, the slimer her chances of giving me what I want undecided...

Thus, women above certain age range are utterly us.eless to me in this regard undecided...

They don't.

It's pressure from the society that gives it to them.

Remove the pressure, religious belief, bad economy, stigma and the shackles called Morals and you'll see how most of them will be fine sleeping around and them becoming single moms.

That's what's going on in USA.
Except although they have good economy, the women prefer to be lazy and rip off men through divource than to work.

O Lord Gods. I thank you all that all men are not created to be Nigerian men.

Very few Nigerians and I dare say, black Africans, desire not to have children. In fact, I stretch it to be black people all over the world. In black Africa, marriage is firstly a reason to have children. Africans rarely marry for companionship. DINK (dual income, no kids) cannot work in the continent.

It's a bit strange for someone to bring up her grandma's value in a debate about dating and fertility.

Once a woman is past 30, she's pretty much expired milk on the dating market.

I have realised that the type of women that made me go gaga in my 20s do not excite me at all in my 30s, and I think it is the same for most men.

I look at these 30 year plus women and shake my head in pity. Not enough men in their dating pool to go around thus the rate of singleness for women in this age bracket is astronomical to the point that some of them indirectly beg you to date them.

Okay, so we should marry under 20s and use them before they expire? pray tell, what shall we do with them when they turn 30 and expire? Throw them away? Cause last time I checked, expired things are harmful.

See, there are things you don't say about people, words you don't just use regardless of the message you are passing across.

From science and technology standpoint? They don't. The giant leap these days have shown crystal evidences of that.

But when it comes down to the root of the society we're living in, sunset in the life of a woman starts at 30. She still got all the sauce and juice of a 20s female however, with general biology as my basis that's the point or foundation of expiration.

I doubt there is any woman in Nigeria that will even agree to not have kids. What will all the sex be for?
