There are borders like these all over the world. Do you people think that all countries are separated by miles of bush? Nope.
There are many many crazy border lines all over the world. Even between the US and Canada, there are places where you can just walk across the street from one country to another. Some people's backyards might be in the US while just across the street is Mexico.
There are millions of miles of unprotected borders all over the world. I once stretched my 2 legs and had one in Kenya while the other was in Tanzania. If you are a traveler, you will encounter many situations just like this all over the world.

There is a village in Ogun state that half of it is in Benin Republic and the other half is in Nigeria.

I was in my friend's village in one part of Ogun state close to the border. Most people there speak Yoruba and French. Few speak English.

You will see someone in Rivers speaking Igbo language with Igbo ancestry and somehow brainwashed that they are not Igbos. Same applies to Delta.

Unknown to many Nigerians, Niger Republic and Chad are parts of Nigeria joined by Islam. Buhari administration fully enhanced that.
Proceeds from crude oil can hardly go round. That's another contributor to the economic downturn in Nigeria.
Politicians from the southern regions of Nigeria and the Sharia states are consuming cheap cash from crude oil together, those from the south are not interested in the mess that one Nigeria portends for their future generations

Europeans were not as stupid for dissolving nearly all the multi religious and multi ethnic countries that once existed in Europe, because such countries never thrived due to centrifugal forces acting on them.

After the fall of the Berlin wall, Europeans got to understand that multi ethnic and multi religious countries in Europe FAILED.

How do you expect to thrive a country between the sharia states of far north Nigeria and the old eastern region of Nigeria? A country forever embtoiled in battles as the sharia states continue to use government instruments to impose Islam and Sharia and use of Sharia Criminal laws upon all in the country.

There is no borders here,as we can all see and it never Closes,as even the Northern people told us before,there are over 1000- Porous borders all over the North!
Meaning Borders is never closed here,with so much Illegalities going on-the terrorists,the Kidnappers,the Cross borders ,Drugs-Barons roam freely, and once you say ' Rankadede' you are free to come into Nigeria!
You can easily see why there is so much Pressure on President Tinubu- for visiting Niger-State, to open the Niger- Republic borders!
•Tinubu should also immediately open up Benin-Coutonou borders,to allow Foodstuffs into Nigeria,especially the Southern part of Nigeria The bag of Rice there is between 20-25k!
Otherwise,it is double faced thing!
The Northerners think by living borders open,they are helping themselves but you can see how Bokoharam and other Terrorists have been coming into this Country and causing havoc, including taking up Arms, Villages, Farmers Lands, etc!

Nigerian leaders continued where the Europeans stopped in sharing same villages into 2 different states.

Go and see how same village was split into Imo state and Rivers state.
