The Father is greater than the Son in Rank

You are EQUAL to your earthly father by NATURE

Live before you and procreate you is in RANK.

Let me ask you, is your father MORE HUMAN than you?
So in what rank is the father greater than the son?

Another evidence of lack of scriptural understanding.

Jesus became A SON when He came to earth.
So before Jesus came to earth? What was the structure of the Trinity in heaven?

As usual, you will ask question and your questions will be answered but when just one question is asked of you you won't attempt it.

Answer my question above!

he was both Almighty God and human at the same time

You have said that my father is greater than me in rank, in the sense that he lived before me and procreated me. I accept that explanation. I accept that my father is not more human than I am but he is higher in rank than me.
Now in what rank is the father greater than the son?

So how can an Almighty God say that the his Father was greater than him in John 14:28, and he does not know the hour of judgment in Matt 24:36?
Can those statements also be applied to the Father?

When I say you people don't have depth understanding of the discussion you are having, it'll look like insults.

God is omnipotent and Omnipresent which means God can manifest in may ways He wants and that won't stop Him to be God. This is seen in the Hebrew Scriptures.

Trinity only solved the mystery revealed in the New Testament as the scriptures shows Jesus is Almighty God, Creator and Eternal. As well as Holy Spirit is called God and Eternal and these TWO are also said to be PERSON.

So was there God the father, God the son and God the holy spirit before Jesus came to earth and after he returned to heaven?

If Jesus calls the father " the only true God" does that mean Jesus is not God?

John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

In Jesus prayer to his father, he asked the father to glorify him so that he will in turn glorify the father.
Not that Jesus has not being glorifying the father but Jesus wanted to glorify his father more and more.
Jesus glorified his father with his life, his miracles, his teachings and his death. Also after his resurrection Jesus continued to glorify his father, Today Jesus brings glory to his father as he had always done.
The father is glorified when he sees the life, the character of his son in we who are Christians.
Everyday as we grow towards maturity in christ Jesus, as the character of christ continue to develop in us, we bring glory to God our Father. Now to the question,
If Jesus describe the father as the only true God does that mean he is not God?

It depends on the way you read it and the context.

If I may ask you, why did the Jews, I spite of the works that he did sought to and eventually kill Jesus?

So are you in effect saying that the Father lived before the son and procreated the son?

Michael547:

Nothing like God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

What we have is God The Father, the Son and The Holy Spirit just like in the Baptismal formula In the NAME of the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit

The first part of your question has been answered.

For the the second part, there is God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit now as Jesus returned to heaven, that is why the scriptures says "When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all." - 1 Corin 15:28 many of you don't understand this verse with @color included.

This simply means that after the Son completed His mission, then everything we know about God will be like as the OT described Him.

Since Jesus is both God and man, the father is greater than him as a man.
The father is not in the flesh, so it does not apply to him.

The Jewish leaders saw Jesus as a threat to them. Jesus was gaining more and more popularity and hence they taught that one day Jesus could easily declare himself king stage an insurrection if this happens the romans would come and destroy their temple and city, they would lose their position and be decimated. For them killing Jesus was a necessity else the whole nation would perish.

Explain the rank in which the father is greater than the son? Simple.

What of the other quality of being an Almighty God while on earth? Was there a deficiency in the Almightiness? Why did he not know the hour of judgment?

Not at all, your point here is political excuse people gave to exonerate the Jewish leaders from Christ crucifixion.

The Jewish leaders then knew exactly what they were doing using God's Word to counter Jesus Christ. Jesus only correct their misunderstanding of God's word where the they wrongly apply it.

The Temple and the City were still destroyed when Jesus was not there.

I don't know where you see EVERYTHING IN HEAVEN INCLUDING THE ANGELS NOW MAKE UP THE ONE ALMIGHTY GOD.

Provide where you got that from.

when Jesus was on earth he limited himself to his humanity Jesus had submitted himself as servant, so some restrictions was on him as he was born in human form.

Philippians 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
