You can't build a national team!!!

Westerhoff built our National team.

Them telling me the same thing outside the thread does not make them right. What do you want me to agree?

That Finido does not need time?

He didn't build. He assembled talented individuals.

How do you think a 16 years old Amokachi made it to the camp? It was a building process that took time. He missed qualifying for the World Cup and stayed on. Then in the next world cup, we had a formidable squad.

Overall positive is just that

Ndidi is back

Before this game I was rooting for Finidi but after this eyesore...

Mali brought on players and they completely changed the game and scored but you stood there making just one sub in 90 minutes of a friendly! And you want this job? Are you kidding me right now? Abeg, I no wan see this guy even as Assistant!

You have Fisayo, Alhassan, and Tella and none of them played in over 180 minutes of two friendlies, even Lookman was brought on less than 20 minutes to the end of the game. Just Wow!

Finidi hasn't seen a challenge this big. He is Enyimba coach and hasn't really achieved anything. I wasn't expecting them to make him the coach. He is

Awaziem is suppose not to be in the super eagles a long time ago just that paddy paddy and godfatherism still made him to earn invites till date

What stops them from trying Igoh ogbu who hv distinguished himself in European club football competitions?

Awaziem that hv failed to improve over 8 seasons playing in europe? The same reason he barely hv serious clubs vying for his signature

Can I ask you a question. Why are you so obsessed with foreign people ? Like white coaches , foreign born players etc ? These foreign players you are always clamoring for are they better than Nigerian players?

Shouldn't we be pressing the NFF to develop our league? Why is it that you always look for a stop gap solution instead of solving the whole problem?

Don't you think investing and developing our local league will put rest to all these problems with our national teams. Don't you have the ability to think for a second ? You are always here dragging our indigenous talents including coaches and players calling them corrupt as if you will do better if you find yourself in that position. For instance, you are barely 40yrs with a pot belly that look like you are pregnant! Who tha f..uck do you think you are. You are simply a white worshipped obese pu..nk

Did your girlfriend leave for him even with the alleged pot belly, why are you so aggrieved.

You sound like a woman scorned.

But whats worse you are talking complete balderdash and Codswallop.

He faded off after that wonderful season in Nantes. He used to be my favorite then but man is no longer good as before.

We need to bridge he gap between the DM and final third. Ndidi, Raph and Onyeka are DMs. Iwobi is better at the final third. Maybe it is time we try out Benzo, Victor and Ireonugbulam. A good ball carrier... someone who is or more cerebral than Iwobi.

The same way 15-year old Lamine Yamal made it to Spain's camp. When you identify an exceptional talent, you call him up. How does that translate to building?

It was not Awaziem that made the pass that led to the first goal, it was Osayi!

Ndidi mistake led to the 2nd goal. I do not understand why he was still on the pitch at that point in time when you have Alhassan and Fisayo on the bench.
Simon and Dessers failed Finidi today. Not scoring either chances is a travesty.
I said it in my previous posts, Dessers is not reliable.

For continuity sake, I will say we keep Finidi and give him good assistants. Just like Senegal did with Cisse!
I do hope he learn from this! #my2cent.

Fallacy.

I didn't watch Pele and the videos of Maradona I watched are limited.

The only thing Maradona has the upper hand against Ronaldo is close dribbling.

Which parameter are we going to use? Goals? Assist? Oh, I just remembered he is known for taking banned substance(s) to perform better.

Why did you stop at Ronaldinho? Maybe you should Add Neymar and... Ben Arfa

Ronaldo is for a time. Maradona is forever

I agree but we can’t be patient with Finidi at this point, although he seems to have already established his style on the players. Another win would have convinced people.

Established his style? In just two matches? What is his style?

Passes don't win match, goals do.

Wirtz scored within 8 seconds of KO with just one pass from Kroos. Your tikitaka team would have passed the ball through Abule Egba, Surulere, Ketu, Ikeja and Ikorodu before the the ball go reach the final third.
I hate that tiki taka. Gosssh

Two matches are not enough judge. We are passing better. I think Finidi needs time.
it’s very harsh to judge Finidi, no assistants, he didn’t call the players then what he’s trying to do will take time to instill but the problem is we don’t have that time to be patient, we have a WCQ in the horizon. Finidi can continue to be assistant for now.

And what give us d confidence dt a new coach in a new system will make dt instant impact, hence my fear with jp resignation.

Anyway it makes my chances brighter of clinching the top job 😎

Which Chance? A coach that is afraid to Make sub? What was the idea of not playing Tella? Why did he relegate Lookman to bench role over two legs?

He already gave his Favs even before Kicking the Ball. He should go

This is just it. Maybe just maybe we would have cut him some slack if he experimented with the new boys and lost. He would at least have some reason.

How do you justify not playing Tella and Fisayo in 2 games? Where else do we get to see them play, in a world cup qualifier game? Make the same mistake we did with Lookman at the last world cup qualifiers? He lost the plot in my opinion.

Good morning house. My inference as per what I deduced from d 2friendly matches.

Having seen Ghana becomes our Achilles Heels for d past18years, it was a relief to see Finiidi's team defeat them to at least break d jinx so I somehow fell in love with finito.

Unfortunately like everything human which is subject to change in a lightning speed and drawing inference from opinion on dis local coaches, I think Finito has to make way.

We have been in this no time business for decades. Until we stop that no time development and focus on building a good side, we will keep running in circles.

Completely agree
At some point, we will have to make a decision to grow so that the process can start
It may as well start now
Nothing wrong sacrificing short term results for longer term gains..
Again, we may as well start now

I’m just happy 😃 for the loss because it seems y’all overrate our boys way too much

For friendly match coach they panic 😱 players they panic 🙀

This goes back to my earlier post we’re doomed for the next 4 years if we continue like this

Blow up the f*cking team and let others get a shoot these guys are just way too comfortable
