Congratulate the great woman and move on. Must everything be made tribal? How does it even pay you or I as individuals if they are Yoruba, igbo, Hausa? Does it mean they will give you free loans (banks), or free airtickets in this case?
All these petty childish talk is boring. undecided

Another bigotry idjiots mis-capping again...d question was "will a Yoruba man employ an Igbo person to that position??,if I'd say, you just dey talk plenty rubbish like who forgwt him sense for house
WizardOfNG:

You people like to delude yourselves. Big and multinational businesses leave no room for quota system or ethnic chauvinism in employment therefore Igbos, Yorubas or Hausa/Fulanis have no choice but to employ the best, regardless of their ethnicity,

That is the deal with Onyeama who is just doing what is best for his business.

To note Igbos are not the tolerant folks you are shamelessly trying to pass them off as, look at the apprentice system that only uses Igbo.

It is about petty trading and a level the real nature of Igbos can be visible because it is largely unregulated, untaxed and cannot be easily sanctioned.

Many Nigerians, like Aisha Yesufu, have condemned the Igbo apprentice system for it patently bigoted outlook.

I believe you people just love talking in hope you can deceive with lies, revisionism and tales at odd with reality. That is why you always wish to pretend you’re one thing yet reality shows you are the opposite entirely.

That’s an Igbo man employing a Yoruba and putting her in a top position. However, how many Yorubas can do that without recourse to tribalism?

The just shall live by faith!
And other tribes don't employ ibos in their companies?. seems you guys are sick in the head. Airpeace even belongs to Kingsley Kuku, an ijaw man.

Tribalists are here doing what they know how to do best....running each other down. Toyin and Allen are obviously just all about doing good business and making Nigerians proud without thinking about tribal affiliations. Upper class people have no time for this nonsense on NL so they keep excelling.

Kudos to Air Peace. May they continue to rise and shine to God's glory.

They are not content to just get married and have children, or to open a small shop somewhere.

lol. You’re the kid mate. A very unexposed one at that too. What level of service do you think this woman is rendering for you to claim she is fortunate to be employed by Air peace? You lot are not sophisticated at all.

It is like saying the Indians Dangote employs to manage his businesses are fortunate’ when the reality is that they are a crucial part of the success of Dangote’s businesses and were likely headhunted with considerable remuneration for their specialist skills.

In fact that is a good example because it shows Dangote feels those expatriates are better than anything Nigeria has to offer and therefore went in uncompromisingly to bring them here to work for him.

For his private business, Dangote prefers Indians rather than deploy his own to pay homage to quota system or ethnic chauvinism.

The way you guys talk shows why you do best at petty trading while Yorubas are far better than you at big businesses plus managing men and resources allied with merging complex components of big businesses for profit and success.

What is the essence of this post, for God's sake. To show us that a Yoruba person occupies a top position in an Igbo-owned business? Never knew it can get this low on this forum. So we should start scouring the Internet looking for firms owned by Yorubas and Igbos to see the ones where these tribes are in top positions? To what end is this buffoonery?

If what Peter Obi did in Anambra state was done in South West or northern Nigeria, he would have been worshipped like a God.

When he was doing all this in Anambra, they called him Aka-Gum that doesn't like spending money.

This statement is credited to Mr Babagide Kolade Otitoju of TVC NEWS.

Kindly post this on his Facebook page and see if he will deny it.

Today, the man has had his character assassinated by you people to the extent that those who don't even know him are wondering what he must've done wrong or who he offended. Just saying.

Are igbos not working in organisations and states of other ethnic groups? Stop the victim mentality and inferiority complex!

Feed her family ko, pamper her family ni. This type of ignorant and dullardly talk exposes many of you as hustlers, yahoo boys, jobless dossers or uneducated petty traders.

She is a high level technocrat. Those in that category can literally write their own Chequers because of highest level technocratic skills worth its weight in gold to queuing employers.

If she leaves air peace now, ten job offers are likely waiting. She is even the sort competitors will always be trying to poach so it is Air Peace that is lucky to have a proven technocrat delivering for them.

Onyema would not get far if he thinks like you, Obi and most of your unsophisticated kinsmen.

Just ask USA where even racists employ very talented black folks who are the best and guaranteed to increase or improve business success.

Can a racist football coach ignore Vinicius Junior or Jamal Musiala? Only if they are planning never to win trophies and then get sacked.

My cousin is 32 and earns a £1000 a day in the UK (around 1.6 million Naira at current exchange rate) plus loads of bonuses because he is a very talented IT consultant with multiple accreditations and a loaded CV.

He actually even has an accountant as he is a contractor rather than a salaried staff. A world your sort would know nothing about because your life is about bigotry and mischief against. Yorubas you envy and feel inferior to.

Instead of coming here with idiocy daily, try to refine your mind with education. Better yourself.

You might even then pursue specialist skills that will make you too busy for you to have time for these bigoted and emptily supremacist talk you bore Nairalanders with every second of the day.

If you people have self-respect and dignity, there should be no single Igbo person in all Yorubaland or states in Nigeria.
But since greed for money can make you lot to even migrate to Hell, I will not banter words with you.
If you hate a people that much, it is shamelessness and senselessness that will make you reside among them.

@ proeast & WizardofNG,

I have read both your posts and I just wonder at what point both of you will realize that you are both being ethnic chauvinists. There is a lot of good to be said about each tribe but you somehow only find the negatives - which often exist only in your chauvinistic minds anyway.

@WizardofNG - when you claim that Ibos generally are just "petty traders" that in itself is a chauvinistic statement. In the moment of this particular discussion one wonders if the very Allen Onyeama being discussed is a petty trader. Not to speak of so many others I am sure you know. Nor is it either true or fair to claim that complex organized businesses are the forte of the Yoruba alone. I needn't cite examples, I am sure.

@ proeast - there was no need to even raise the question of tribe whatsoever in this. As WizardofNG said, business people seek competent hands.

Generally, this Ibo-Yoruba back and forth is distasteful and tiresome for heavens sake. Truth is we have stars from both tribes and other tribes all across the world. We are a richly blessed nation in terms of talent.
