Currently lives and work a 250k monthly Job in Lagos, recently I got an offer for a 500k job in portHarcourt so am still contemplating whether to accept the offer or not. I heard portHarcourt is very expensive compare to Lagos, so I don't want to make wrong decision.

In terms of cost of living as relates to price of foodstuffs, Port Harcourt is higher. Rent is lower compared to Lagos, all depends on the area you stay though. Transport is averagely ok. I'd choose the port Harcourt personally. Stress plenty for Lasgidi

You can always come back to Lagos & guess what. The HR personel will be Benchmark the salary from the current 500k salary you are already earning

But if you decided to hold back, they will ask for your pay slip and the salary will be judged from your current 250k standpoint

So choice is yours.

If you are still single, take the PH Job.
If you are married and already have a family, just stay within Lagos. And keep shooting high.

I have lived in both cities.
Take PH. The rents are reasonable, transport is relatively lower than in Lagos. The water quality is better too.

Most people think food is cheaper in Lagos. It is a fallacy.

My friend, do you have to think about this and also seek other's opinions? My friend, PH is the way to go: more money and a better environment. You will spend less and have money left to save.
