The reason for relocating for 99% of Nigerians is for economic reasons, make una stop deceiving yourselves. The reason changes when you people realize it's not as rosy as initially thought. Forget all this crap about doing it for the kids, or infrastructure, security bla bla. There are children born abroad to Nigerian parents that are total failures in gangs and prison in the US or UK, the hype of good roads and steady electricity will worn off after a year or two.

I left Naija at 40. Left an oil and gas jib and worked remotely for a while before fully integrating into the Canadian workforce. I do not regret the move. A lot of my colleagues back home now ask me of I knew Naija would be like this when I made my move. Don't be deceived, if you have an opportunity to relocate legally and you can afford it, and you want it, please leave.
