Currently lives and work a 250k monthly Job in Lagos, recently I got an offer for a 500k job in portHarcourt so am still contemplating whether to accept the offer or not. I heard portHarcourt is very expensive compare to Lagos, so I don't want to make wrong decision.

In terms of cost of living as relates to price of foodstuffs, Port Harcourt is higher. Rent is lower compared to Lagos, all depends on the area you stay though. Transport is averagely ok. I'd choose the port Harcourt personally. Stress plenty for Lasgidi

Yes, we all know Lagos island is much expensive. But higher populations of people living in Lagos do live in Lagos mainland which is almost same rentage with Port-Harcourt.

I was born and brought up in Lagos, I have worked in PH. Based on experience PH is better than Lagos.

what about the traffic? An abnormal lifestyle that is now seen as normal in Lagos, the guy would do away with that, then with times two of the salary paid in Lagos, he is better off in port harcourt. Mainland in Lagos and port harcourt cost of living, they are roughly the same, with the island being exponentially higher.

If he wants to go into that let him do Offshore crane operator.
He must go to a centre that has opito accreditation or Iadc. He also needs to do some offshore certifications. It is capital intensive. If he is finally certified and gets a job the rate goes up to $500 daily.

I'm not talking about traffic or what so ever, I'm only talking about rentage and cost of living in both areas... By the way, apart from the traffic stress, there is no abnormal life in Lagos that is not in Port-Harcourt.

The only reason you should stay in Lagos is if you're also into importation by sea and air and you love going out to meet celebrities, else, PH.

Sadly, PH and Abuja are the two places foodstuff are the most expensive in Nigeria from my personal experience.
