• How much do Each DISCOS collect per Year and How do they Spend it?
• How much of the Transformer(s) do you Purchase and Distributed and how much of the Pre-paid Meters - have you Purchased and Distributed?
• How much have you received on the Pre - paid Meters by each DISCOS.
You will observed that - they can't faithfully answer those questions because of Corruption!
The Power Minister,who also brought out Power -bank to charge in our presence - have been drawing this narrative since he came,with the worst performance,so far!

1- How much have you collected on Oil Subsidies?
2- Can we see the Monthly Revenue Collection on the Oil Subsidies?
3- How much have you spent on the Refineries?
4- Do we have any Functional Refineries working now,after so much Promises by NNPC?
You don't use illegal means of collecting Revenue to support a drowning equipment,where those running it are very Corrupt,for Corruption has finished both GENCO and DISCOS.
For the Unions,Nigerians don't Trust them,for they are only after their Monthly Dues are threatened,as they took are very Corrupt?

Hmmm... this might not be the case with electricity. Telecoms is easier to deploy by many operators charging different prices. Electricity nature of infrastructure might not allow that.

It's as a result of ineptitudeness of Adelabu. Since he has became the minister nothing has really happened in the power sector. Exploitation of the common masses in Nigeria continues and those PHCN guys continue to bribe the minister. The electricity that is not stable that someone will hardly see for 4 hours 2 days in a week is what you are increasing it's tarrif. I think the PHCN people are using the standard of some organizations or government houses or Aso rock for the rest of the Nigerians. Until all states have their individual power plants like that of Abia state no one is permitted to increase any tarrif in this country. It's just unfair.

Nigerians just read to react, the recent hike in tariff is for customer on BAND A not everybody
its not a matter of prepaid meter vs post paid consumers, the hike is exclusive to those BAND A, funnily those on band A are yet to react na most of us wey dey stay Govt rejected area dey Vex and react pass

People on Band A are not even up to 19% of electricity users, the Rich can always take care of themselves the average Nigerians should worry more about fallen grid

it doesnt matter state, in every state in Nigeria there is a Band A for special orders, technically in every state there are areas with 20hrs light

It is too much. Federal government owe the people subsidies and welfare...but if they leave it for grade A alone, it's okay. The government must make sure the poor and middle class keep getting subsidy, because the middle class run small businesses that employs the poor and runs the real sector of our economy...80% of Nigerians survive under the real sector. So for the economy to keep being mobilized, people buying and government earning more VAT, the government must subsidize necessities, like food, energy costs, healthcare, housing for the middle class and poor.
