Gold D1 swing getting ready to start the swing short I have waited for since last week, I will never long gold for the next 1week or 2. I expect today and tomorrow to fully prepare that short swing, I might enter on Monday or Tuesday. I will call the trade here at that time, I expect her to swing for atleast 5days looking to get about 450 pips.

It is everyday we documet new lesson learnt but every single lesson comes with a loss when will the documentation now end

There is nothing bad in struggling before making it but the struggle in fx don dey too much

well, yu have to train your eyes for good entries and money management, not for the money itself, and above all, be patience. The best time i trade gold is towards the close of asian market into Eu market, not US market. Those 2nd/3rd/4th 4HR candle of the day are always liquid with sense of direction, so just try and pick them from Lowertime frame.
If you want to enjoy gold in US market, wait like 30-45 mins before news release, it will move against the current trend most times infact up to 100 pips, many at times into the news time. You have to understand how gold and us30/us100/dax moves. Its fun to trade especially during active days, They jump, yu follow, But when they start ranging, you will loose like mad.

Na my own method be that, and what i have trained my eyes to see be that for years, lol

I took 550.0 pips ish on that US30 yesterday crash on my new 100K funded account with fundednext. I knew I would be on air for 6 hrs ish, so I shorted it and set a SL and TP. As soon as I descended, I checked and saw TP taken just after 6 hrs. I was wowed! $5,500 bagged on that single 6hrs trade.

Forget about your 5 years and lack of achievements

Focus on your losses
Be impatient with a losing trade, how can a trader be in profit and allow a trade dance back and hit stoploss That person is not serious, and you say you have a risk management plan
so your strategy cannot even tell you when a trade is invalid before stoploss hit What have you been learning for 5 years??,. You need the right education no be to the do stronghead say you have spent 5 years and you know shit... Well your end of month broker statement says it all

Guy as for me na only TP the hit, all my losses are closed manually before it even gets to my stop, I no get patience for any trade dancing below my entry

Keep your wins big and losses small,

Come to smaller time frames so you can take plenty trades and learn quickly because for you time sef no dey before you go finally quit as you the talk so, then go back to the timeframe you love and execute

hi chairman, hope you good. Let me point out something from my own perspectives.

Some of you dont still understand how some of this market moves and sentiments behind them. 2 days ago i posted this for someone.



See the bold. You see, there is a big news tomrw or today naija time, so there is every sentiment market moves before that news. To which direction? you have to figure that and stick to that. Oga Gabson kept saying he wont trade gold on buy, e get why he stick to that, and na because of coming news of today. Now he saw potential entries, he smatched it.
This news coming will change some directions if the data is surprising. It happens every month most times. You have to figure which direction per pair. All i need to do is wait for the news to come first, then after 30 mins, you will have some clear entries. But am sure, some will be there before news and want to gamble on the news when you are not in-house member that get data before they are released to the public, and they will be burnt either buy or sell. E get why. and it also get why , why most prop firms are strict on news trading.

I am not a guru, and very far from that but with the little experiences i have learnt over time, its possible one get it right many times, then follow it up by using high RR to get the job done especially picking entries from lower TF like 5 mins or below.
In your own case, you had good profits, before sentiments started to change but you didnt cash out in time. Thats what really affect your loss.

After a long time on gold, i traded usCAD- sell, and GJ- buy yestday, just to test them on my prop account especting around 100 pips on both on ratio 3:1, but after like 7 hours that it didnt go as i expected, pushing up and down, unlike what i was expected, i later closed them for like 35 pips profits after initially i saw almost 65 pips at their peak , i closed them both when i saw some formation against my entries, before that last talkative talked. I walked away. Even on gold many times, i worked away at minima loss, and sometimes hit the sl with full force, but we move.
If i left those pairs thinking they will break later, i would be crying now. They would have hit SL.

I dont know where you trade from, either phone or laptop but learn to always know when to run out and how pattern are forming with sentiments. And also stick to some few selected pairs, even if not more than 2. E get why.

I can relate with everything you have said brother, it’s not easy at all, if care is not taken one could spend another 5 years without anything to show for it, making 10 years wasted, it’s better we don’t depend on trading 100%, because that could be really detrimental.. one need to have other sources of income, and don’t abandon your family and other things that makes you for happy for forex to avoid stories that touches the heart .. If you don’t mind I’ll advice you take a break and come back stronger

Its one thing to be a profitable trader and its another thing to be a profitable prop trader....

The country even made it more difficult because we lack capital to give us that comfortable life we crave for which makes us all to lean toward prop trading...

Prop. Firms require you to make a whooping 150% profit before you get a live account thats how hard it....

If any one is following my diary you would know that yeah I'm profitable but im not a profitable prop trader

boss no vex o. I think my little advice for you is to tone down your fundamentals a little bit. I think you know too much and it causing you confusion most times. focus more on what the chart is telling you rather than what fundamentals is telling you

but I just want to help open your eyes to see things from different dimensions..
