Let me ask if Man utd is to shoot a goal kick, Onana pass to Maguire, Maguire pass back but Onana wasnt looking and the ball entered the net

What should be the decision? Goal for opponent or let them replay it and use common sense since the intention was not to score in his own net
Totally unrelated scenarios.

Let me ask you this though... Who exactly took the goal kick?

Since our 2-1 1st leg win over Barca in 2010/11 UCL ko stage, we've gone on to have 7 consecutive winless 1st leg ties, including the one yesternight

Which kind of record be dis undecided cry

I'm still wondering how Partey isn't fit till now. Like I expected him to be over the match rustiness but the thing still deh him body.

I need a fit Partey in this run in. Yesterday really lacked Partey in the centre of the pitch
He has been out for like 5 months. He needs game time to build up his fitness. Throwing him into a game of that magnitude won't do us a lot of good. Maybe he should partner Rice in midfield. That would at least give him the needed cover.

Gabriel took the goal kick. I really don't understand why this is difficult to understand. I've seen players still touching the ball with their hand when about to take kicks (CK, FK) even when the ref has blown his whistle. How then is this different from what happened yesterday?

Ref blew and Raya kicked the ball to Gabriel

That is the sequence of event

That is the sequence of event. I asked you a question too but you have not responded.

When taking FKs or cKs, I've seen players touching the ball even after the ref blew the whistle, why were they not penalised?

So because someone commited an error and wasnt punished means what?

I have also seen people shoot someone and was not convicted. why were they not penalised

Apparently Saka has a history of that same penalty move, where he will spread his leg and try to get a dubious penalty

Like this vs Villareal same move he did vs Neuer

This post reminds me of that AC Milan match. They won the first leg 4-0. In the second leg, we scored 3 goals in the first half but couldn't score again in the second half to level or score or won.

I also remember that 2-0 win over Bayern. They defeated us 3-1 in the first leg. We crashed out due to away goal rule.

Out of context again.
If those players were not penalised, why should Gabriel be penalized. Moreso, is there any rule that back it up that a player should be penalized in such situation? Maybe if you can bring a screenshot of the rule, I will concede.

The law states that players cannot handle the ball with their hand once whistle has been blown and ball is in play

Mikel Arteta is expected to sanction Charlie Patino’s exit this summer to allow Arsenal to cash in on him before his contract expires, with clubs in Spain interested in him.

Good. But was the ball in play before Gabriel touched it?

Bro

Matta don end.

Raya played a goal kick
Gabriel rather wanted to retake it.

Same way a player takes a throwing and plays it to another player to take the throwing.

No need arguing.

If Kane did not see red card, i don't know what's all the fuss about retaking a goal kick.

The worst case scenario would be a yellow card for time wasting of which it wouldn't make sense since we weren't on the winning at that time.
Some things need footballing common sense not all these wannabes

Ben White: "I play against Gabriel Martinelli every day in training for example, and to be honest I don’t want to go too near to him most of the time, but at the same time we have to keep it competitive. But you know there is a line, and it’s the same for everyone. We all come up against the same people each day, and there’s like an unwritten rule that you don’t go in too hard for a 50-50 or something like that. You can save those for the weekend!"

"Every day me and Martinelli have a one v one battle, but then as soon as the session is over our relationship is so good. You do your best and give everything when you are training, but you need to look after each other too, you have to be clever." [@Arsenal] #arsenalfanaticsnews

There is a specific spot on the 6yard box where goal kicks are taken.

The ref admitted it was an error. It was an error but not a foul. An error is a misjudgement of the ref's instructions especially due to ignorance. That's why the ref regarded it as childish.

Trossard has scored 14 goals and made 12 assists in 60 appearances for Arsenal, despite only playing the full 90 minutes four times since we signed him. A lot of them important too. Serious squad player.

we have next season ucl Ko stage to break that record for good. It's annoying. Especially home ties.

Lol, it doesn't concern us as long as it isn't EPL that they're doing it.
If it's league unbeaten, so many clubs have done it after arsenal (eg Juve in 2012 I think)
