The bolded does not make rational thinking. If a midfielder is playing as a striker you can call him false. If a striker is playing as a striker he cannot be said to be false again.

False 9 is a tactical approach but it is not a position. The position is no 9. What makes it false is whether the person playing there is really a no 9 or not.

Kane is a striker, if he drops deeper it does not change the fact that he is a striker. So you cannot call him false striker simply because he dropped deep. Bruno is an AM. When he is in the no 9 position we know that it is tactical and that he is false.

That a striker dropped deep simply does not make him false. Players move away from their positions all the time. Wingers drop deep to assist the fullback in defense. That does not make them false. But when you have a fullbacks playing on the forward flank, we call them false winger or wingback.

4. NEWCASTLE 1-0 ARSENAL

Poor game for Eddie & Saka with a lot of physicality when just Havertz stood up equally. Bruno Guimares escaped the Red card, ball out of play and VAR gave a shocking decision in favour of Newcastle for the goal.

5. ASTON VILLA 1-0 ARSENAL

McGinn scored an early goal in the 7th minute. Poor game for attackers Jesus & Martinelli. In the end Havertz equaliser is ruled out due to handball.

Huge game in the context of the season for both teams can't afford to lose. Arsenal had surprising tactics but it worked well in the end one point was better than City getting 3. Saliba with another POTM display.

Probably the turning point in the title challenge where we gave away the lead to City. This game was in the middle of our CL fixtures against Bayern. The experiment with Havertz back in midfield & MAYBE not starting Partey cost us.
