I still can’t forgive him for what he did to that 2015 U-20 team against Germany. We had the players to beat Germany, but Manu decided to sabotage the team with his stupid selection and substitutions.

The recurrence of such incident is totally linked to local coaches and although still not loud, but bribery might just be at the helm of such situations. Self sabotage makes no sense unless what's at stake is personal and bigger than glory. He's not even the 1st too. Local coaches??

Exactly. It’s like keeping a Messi or Cristiano on the bench when the team needs a goal while NIco Jackson stays on the pitch to keep miss sitter upon sitter.

As you’ve rightly stated, unless what is at stake is personal and bigger than the expected glory, it doesn’t make sense at all.

Ademola Lookman with double assists for Atalanta vs Monza. He's running the show.

Barca fans are some of the most hilarious mehn. They want to set the standard by which they get beaten. Many of them on twitter are shouting that Jude ghosted the whole game. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

All that will be remembered is he was at the right place at the right time and did what will make Barca fans compete with crocodiles. If he kon get better Euros performance, Balon d'Or loading. You carry Cancelo dey cancel una sef still dey wail say Jude ghostedπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

One of the reasons why possession football managers and coaches are necessary, is that it leaves a foundation to maintain a legacy.

I listened to the Siasia interview with Emmanuel Babayaro and he talked about how his coach in Nantes was brilliant. He talked about how the man had an influence on him

Getting a coach like Amunike will give our younger ones someone to learn and impact them. Also get some of them to become tactical coaches in the future.

Jude Bellingham scoring match winners twice against Barca in El clasico in the same season and at similar times 90+2 and 90 +1 is giving the Barca fans nightmare. So don't blame them. They are trying to cope with Jude being their tormentor this season.

They have a lot to process this month. If Ramirez brings her A game and Jess Carter as well, it will be both Barca Femeni and Masculini that will be shedding tears this Month. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

2-3 seasons at Ocean boys. 1 at Julius Berger. No major trophy. No relegation either. Unlike Amunike, Manu Garba was given ultimatums before he was fired due to very poor performance at Gombe. Didn't even last a full season.

Thanks!!! Manu was really poor and Amunike was at best mediocre in the NPFL. However, in my own books, he didnt exceptionally well in Tanzania.

Amunike was just starting out in the coaching business then and it was even before his asst coach role in 2013. Since then he has matured kn the job and even coached Tanzania to an Afcon qualification. He did well in Tanzania with the mediocre talents they have. Qualifying a nation to a major tournament is not beans. How many of our local coaches have done it?

Keshi did with Togo and Nigeria. Amodu did with Nigeria. Amunike did with Tanzania. Respect where it is due please.

Lol... that will not be good. Chelsea ladies already did a huge damage in that first leg in Spain. I would love to see how Barca femeni responds in England.

Meanwhile... just like what I said... Jude is now officially Barca's Enemy Number 1. Possibly the most hated Madrid player to Barca fans now. Lol

I am really surprised some people are clamoring for Manu as SE coach. I have made mention of Nigeria vs Brazil U20 match at the group stage where Manu was in charge. It was TACTICAL CLUELESSNESS in full display.

Had your Manu venture out of Naija to Coach before?

Are their 2 both winners with U17, and Same record with U20, Since then what had Manu being doing

Manu had a successful career with under 20 compare to Amunike

Well as regard experience of coaching abroad. ..Amunike coached abroad and got fired on 3 occasions his performance was so poor. Siasia has never coached abroad but he is way competent than the duo

Anyway I wish Amunike the best

Yes you made a point

How about Amunike led under 20 team against Sudan and could not even qualify for AYC

At least manu side played Brazil at the under 20 world cup in new Zealand

For the past 20 years this is the most average indigenous coach let's add Equaevon too.

Considering the likes of Keshi, Siasia, Christian Chukwu, Amodu etc so unfortunate that we are in a world cup qualification year

Anyway in all seriousness now is the time to back him up to succeed 100% we may all have our misgivings about his appointment but let's just believe his tenure will bring much success to the SE. Not that he should be immune from criticism when wrong or team is floundering but let's just believe he will succeed on the job.

Immune kini?

Person may i go criticise if he mess up I go copy supernerd and the two joe sef.
But of a truth I pray he succeeds and stay clear of sentiments in players selection

but on a more serious note, I believe the eagles would play more of a possessive game now.
But possessive game does not necessitate better win ratio.
Make everybody mind dey o Tor .
Because we knw how e end for Tanzania o
Same possessive football he played with Tanzania at afcon they were leading Uganda by 2 goals to nil Uganda came back from behind to win that match I think 3 goals to 2

His defense is always porous and can barely hold down a lead

He should get someone like Yobo as assistant

Wrong. Siasia had a short coaching stint abroad in India between 2011/2012-2012/2013.

Also, Siasia and Amunike have worked together before.
