Men age differently

A man can be in his 80s and still be getting laid wbut a woman at 80s obviously can't and has reached meno

Once a man is 35, unmarried and broke, I repeat, BROKE. He may be classified as an Evening Newspaper.

Going by your logic, if "2 min men" is a description of an action according to you, then "Evening Newspaper" is a description of a biological fact

Continue bro! evening newspaper is not a human word so in essence you are dehumanizing the person. 2 min men , at least they still refer to such men as men. 2 mins does not really matter as long as you can impregnate your wife. For your knowledge, I am man with two kids and am not a woman wrapper.

Let's call a spade a spade. Both terms are derogatory and dehumanizing

If women are so offended by the evening newspaper remark, they should stop broke-shaming men and cock-shaming men

Whatever your reasons are, it is only a reflection of your upbringing and circle where women have to sleep around to eat. I didn't have to go through that. Neither did I spend my 20s sleeping around with men. I worked hard since graduation and I got a man that I deserve.
Na so.
For the past 10 years you've been spewing a variation of this story on this forum.
What does a man mean? Husband and man na the same thing?

I advise ladies to do same in this generation because the dating pool is messed up and you have to ensure certain filth do not have access to you.
Yen, yen, yen.... Everybody get mouth for Internet.
That said, I am with a wealthy man.

Wealthy man? Why will a wealthy man settle for someone like you? You jazz am?

Ok guys, listen let's trash this important topic and very popular phrase used very frequently on Nairaland by the guys.

In recent times I have always come across the term "evening newspaper", being used to refer to some certain individuals oftentimes the female folks on this honourable site.

The term is often used in a derogatory term to refer to ladies of a certain age group who are yet to marry.

I must confess that I find this term to be amusing and often wonder at the origin considering the fact that I am an avid reader of newspapers expecially the evening variety.

Now due to the present economic impasse in the country, we find that lots of the menfolk who are still single and yet to marry, in particular older males in their late thirties, early to mid- forties.

Can we refer to these categories of males as "evening newspapers" too.

I personally think if a man is not married at 35, he should be classified as an evening newspaper or what do you guys think.

For me, I would prefer the term not to be used at all as it is derogatory but if you insist on using them, I would say men could be evening newspapers too.

A man can marry at 55... And men don't hit menopause.... The evening news paper refers to a lady that is above 35 years old and she ain't married.

I have been on faceless forums like Quora and Redit and I can tell you whites dont curse and abuse each other this way. Methinks it is a Nigerian thing.

In real lives, we are naturally loud , rambunctious and the average Nigerian is full of egos and unbridled emotions mostly absent of logic so the end product is what we see - unruly attitudes witnessed on Nairaland.

Plus, I believe most of these guys grew up in homes where the father never respected the moms, I also believe they were never exposed to true maternal love growing up. Something is definitely wrong for the level of misogynist views expressed on Nairaland.

End of discussion.

Why are you pained he settled for me? Someone like me is who? Can you pick me out of a crowd? How about you settle for your kinda woman and show me how it is done? I bet you will never do that. Epe Michael Jackson.

No, I didn't jazz him. Neither am I part of his harem. Na only me balance put. Life is beyond Nairaland and sadly, in the real world, it is not men like you making the rules. Nairaland is where you scream the loudest.

You should look it up first. Nairaland is a forum for conversing. It is normal to have number of POSTS. That is what we are here for. What is abnormal is keeping track of a forum user's life for 10yrs and obsessing over their definition of "man". I wish I can do same for or with you. Even though I find the word derogatory.

The fact still remains that the fecundability of a woman reduces with age, and also they tend to have more complications like pre eclampsia during pregnancy.

And let's not forget women start to age early too.

For men, it's about money.

Majority of women will show you love (might not be genuine) if you are rich.

Woman na woman. Now you want to play the victim card. Your comments are typically provocative (deliberately so), and they have a tendency to appear on the first page of threads where many people see them. I wonder why. If your comments were not on page one, this interaction most likely would not have happened. You don't get to cry foul if people respond to your provocation in like manner. You are sounding dumber with each post you make.
There are comments that provoke a group of people. You make them all the time and cry when you get a commensurate response. It's just like a guy making an "evening newspaper" comment and saying that women are unstable for getting riled up. Does that make sense to you? Or are you just being deliberately dense?
If I make a comment that affects a tribe and someone from that tribe responds aggressively, will I be right to call them unstable.
There are sensitive topics that trigger both genders, you take pride in hitting on those pain points and turn around to cry when the affected parties respond in kind. Does that make sense?
The only reason I'll be banned is because you've ingratiated yourself with the mods because of how often you're here. You are essentially a mod on this forum.

Nobody can be an evening newspaper as you have rightly noted that the word is derogatory. Even worse that it most times comes from men who are unmarried themselves, but somehow clutch to that as the only means to put women down.

Using Nairaland as a case study, I am yet to see any of the forum's rules that says females must be married to have peace. So the obsession with the marital status of women on this site is unbecoming.

That said, marriage is a lifetime decision that can make or mar you. You should do it when you are prepared for it and with someone who wants it as much as you do. It is not for survival or change of status. If you die at 30, they will call it premature death. But you are alive and same people think you are too old for marriage.

People have different spec at different stages of their lives. Pick your own spec and shut up.

Nobody is an evening newspaper. If you are worried about single ladies/men, do well to marry one and help us reduce the population of singles. Anything less and you are an emptyheaded rabblerouser.

Honest answer please. If you had a son who by 32 was graduate and working in oil company like shell with 7 years work experience and wanted to get married . If 2 girls were crazy for him, one fresh graduate 25 years and another working class lady 39 single. Who would you ask your son to marry?

The one who loves and respects him, loves his family and is keen on building a home. Except he is a really lucky man, most men do not find these qualities in two women at a time.

I am more concerned that you see and expect me to judge by their ages and "crazy for him". Mind you, I have a grown brother and I wouldn't want to dabble into how clueless majority of you are on what to actually look out for.

You also do it and even revel in it.
But no vex sha. Truly sorry.

Ignore or report?Seriously. You are hard to ignore. There is a thread about Tiwa Savage on the frontpage right now. There is an insulting comment by MyVillage.People directed at you and Jenny.clay on the front page. I had to check his name twice to remember the moniker. What do you and Jenny.clay have in common, you are always in our face. Ignoring or reporting cannot work.

will not bother responding to them because they don't have your pull. They don't have a name, you do, Kim Kardashian.
If Seu.n makes a comment no matter how seemingly insignificant, he gets a lot of responses due to his reputation. You've built a reputation (not necessarily a good one) over the years. Na the price of fame be that.
If Seu.n, Ishilov.e, Deepsigh.t, or one of the popular users make your kind of comments, how do you think the reactions to their comments will be?
Those boys posting silly comments will get banned and create new monikers immediately, who has the time to be keeping up with them? Except you of course

Please try and get popular too. When you do, use your office to defend the kind of women you like. Until then, __________

Ouch.
Now that I see this comment again I think it was in bad taste. That was below the belt. I apologize.

I am actually unoffended by it. So you don't need to apologise. I will even repeat it again to you tomorrow until you at least show me the kinda woman you finally picked. I also mean it when I say pick your kind of woman. This is who I am. If you like, type 500 pages, I won't change. ✌️

The term is only for ladies who have passed their prime age.

Evening newspapers beg for love.

Most of them sef are Baby Mamas.

They have over-stretched toto.

And are fvcked by boys far younger than them.

Funny enough, they still wear bum-shots that reveal their flabby buttocks, and legs that were once like ripe pawpaw.

[b]The one in my area has not learnt her lessons. She's still giving her 'widow's might' to small boys like a 'free-to-air' channel [\b]
