It's a 9-month master's program (in a top 20 school in the U.S/world), as stated on the I-20.

I wish you would not be snarkily belligerent and just offer solutions. I have reservations about what to do, hence my question on this thread. Meaning I don't need to be reminded about the risks as I am aware of them. I just want suggestions or alternatives.

Does presenting bank statements from the two sources work or not is the question.

That guy has hate running in his blood, he's not a lover of peace, he's a man of war, left for him everybody should be denied visa.

Hello bosses, Please I need your advice on what to do. I got some funding for an MSc program but still have 8K deficit. I have been working for some years, so I plan to use my personal account to cover 4k and my uncle will be covering the remaining 4K. Please what do you think about this please? Is this a good path to follow, or could doing that affect my chances for an approval? Would having all the money in personal account be an advantage? Thanks so much in advance for your helping me out with your advice. Thanks.

Hey 🤠

1. You have a good F1 visa lyrics but you have to be very careful in joining it together to make a danceable music.

2. Your company standing as your sponsor is good . Your American friend who is affiliated to your company and whose property or facility will stand for you in accomodation evidence is also good.

3. If i were you i will stick to my company as my sole sponsor . I do not really like the idea of co-sponsor. If your company is reputable and financially buoyant enough , they should be able to finance just one individual without the support of any person.

Best Wishes 🙏

Hey 🤠

1. It's either way round. If you are married with kids and of age , let your uncle give you his own 4k and put everything in your personal account .

2. If you are single and never married and below age 30.. your uncle can still stand as your sponsor , therefore, you will have to transfer the 4k into your uncle's account and use your uncle as your sponsor.

3. But personally , it would be better if the company / organisation you are working for stands as your sponsor . Otherwise. You need a very convincing reasons why leaving your present work for Msc in the USA.

Best Wishes 🙏

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, it's not a big company and they don't have all the money I need in their bank account.

Thanks so much brother. It's confirmed Job . It's a brother that just moved to the same company that gave me the link. He is currently place on two months training with $500 per month during training. while my dpt is one month Training, hence my repayments spaning 3months. I will do so as you suggested, tho' I hate the immature nature of most of the people in that business section. But I will still do so. Thanks a bunch bro.

You have not even secured the job yet you want to take out a loan of 1 million based on it...really?

It is either you want to scam Nairalanders or someone is trying to scam you!

There is no way you would be called for an interview for a job (14 May 2024) that would require you to travel across two different countries then be asked to resume work the very next day (15 May 2024).

Typically for a job of this nature what happens is that after the interview there will be a shortlist of the best candidates, this list would then be presented to the Management or Board of the company to make a final selection after which the Human Resources department will then send Offer of Employment letters to the chosen candidates.

This process will take at least 3 - 7 days.

I think someone is trying to scam you!

Bro, that's a fake job. It'll land you in big trouble. It happened to someone close to me and I also saw a video of someone who was also a victim. It's like MMM plus organ harvesting if you can't lure in people from Nigeria. The two people I mentioned up there borrowed money and sold all their belongings to go, only to end up in their den. They were lured by TRUSTED friends who were more like brothers to them.

Your so called brother is in over his head and is trying to save himself by bringing in others. Either he brings someone in or his organs are harvested. I'm sure they've shown you "evidence" that their job is genuine etc. Don't be despirate. It's not real.

Please I need help on my upcoming interview, in my previous interview I was denied and before I got denied the VO told me to get a scholarship next time, and right now, my next interview is coming up and I didn’t get a scholarship and I’m going to the school I applied last year. So my question is, if I’m being asked what has changed after my previous denial, what can I say?… I know they don’t ask that often, but in case they ask…
I need your help

Now the story is getting shaky. The point of the previous advice is to keep your story simple. One source of funding is "simpler" than several, which may smack of desperation.

Hey 🤠

1. Let's assume that your secondary school principal ask you thus ; Come for your WAEC certificate next year but you must wear our school uniform when coming ? Even if you have discarded your old high sch uniform , you can as well go and get a new one just for the sake of your certificate.

2. Now , you are on Nairaland like ; Pls teach me what lies can i tell my school principal because i cannot get the school uniform 😊 .

3. Naturally, a USA consular will not ask an undergraduate F1 applicant to go and get scholarship next time , what he or she is concerned about is how your sponsor is going to cover your 1st year tuition and living expenses , how sound or outstanding student you are , your exact reasons of choosing your program of study and why did you choose USA, as well as how you are going to prove tie of returning back to your families .

4. USA Colleges and Universities are not selling scholarships and it's not a birth-right of any international applicant, therefore a CO will not enforce you to get scholarships or fundings (except in a rare case Msc , but PhD especially) or based your Bsc F1 visa on getting scholarship.

5. If your dad can prove the availability of the $31k and you passes other consular questions, then why not ? Your F1 visa should be approved.

Best Wishes 🙏

Hi all,

Is it best to tell the VO that the reason for the masters is to change career in the same organization- in house lawyers or to work in a top law firm?

Please I need someone to help me with mock interviews. Thank you.

Dear learned colleague, I completely understand that you might be feeling anxious about your upcoming visa interview. Please know that there's no one-size-fits-all answer to these questions and the visa officer may focus on something different altogether. I want to encourage you to approach the interview with an open mind and be true to yourself, rather than trying to memorize what to say. It's important to fill out your form and I-20 yourself, as your questions will likely come from these documents. I truly wish you all the best and I am rooting for your success.

Do you have proof of funds from your dad that exceeds this amount to show the visa officer?
Did you take the SAT exams?

Hello everyone. My wife's F2 interview is near and I saw online that i need to request for a separate i20 for her. There is claim I found that f2 also get their own i20 and this is confusing. So I really need guru's in the house to please address this and also give directives on the necessary docs to go with and the does/dont.

Best regards
