A civil servant who was running a private business on the side.

A gross violation of civil service edicts by someone who is assumed to be an officer of the law.

Nigeria is shithole.

its actually the job of the CCB. the CCB is supposed to investigate him based on civil service provisions and hand him over to the EFCC/ICPC for prosecution

The problem with you muslims is that you are quick to spray the paint, but slow to note the color.

The fellow whom you just attacked, whom you quoted, who is wiser than you and your father put together, was only trying to let you know that ACCORDING TO THE PUBLIC SERVICE RULES you cannot be a serving public servant and run ANY business. No matter the nature of the business, you are only to live by your paid income, or you FARM.

Are you educated?
If your answer is yes and what you commented here is what your level of education and exposure could make out, then you're far far backwards.

For clarity sake. The man never said he raised N20b.
He never said he has N20b in bank is cash.

He said that they started a business which ppl interested totaling ₦54m.
The business has grown to worth ₦20b in cash and assets.

A lot of people might get him wrong. Since he mentioned an investment club, it may not necessarily be his personal company alone but a group of people coming together to make up the club membership.
There are so many investment clubs out there doing well.

This Gentleman should be woken up from his sleep! He said he has =N=20 billion Naira, while it's a known fact that Dangote is said to be worth $14.4 billion dollars. Let's convert that to Naira at =N=1,200 per $1 will be =N=17.28 Trillions. So how can he compete with his miserable =N=20 billion Naira? By the way how did he own that sum? He was not a business man, but a serving Police Officer. He just ended up inviting EFCC to himself. From the look of his face, he certainly not up 60 years (retirement age), also he couldn't have served up to 35 years, could it be he was sacked or compulsorily retired. Henceforth he better keep his mouth shut in order not to land himself in to a regrettable situation !!!

He needs to tell Nigerians how he became a billionaire while serving as a police officer.

He said investment. No rule against investing. His problem is actually that amount of money. Ideally he should be made to explain how much of the 54million he contributed for the club start up and if that match his expected income.
