Moses Simon and Chukwueze youtube videos better. Iwobi outplayed him yesterday. Bassey was simply toying with him. I know you didn't watch the match. Lol! Running to YouTube proves nothing.

Oga Marjori,I donā€™t think itā€™s ideal using a match to judge a player, pls letā€™s wait till season end and we use total output of a a season to judge them and see whether they merit the hypeā€¦.Olise I watched this season is good irrespective of his performance against Fulham but he was even rated higher with the same number with Muniz of Fulham who was MOTM.I watched the match, getting him to play for us would be a plus.

If we can get him,Ogbu guy,Nwakali,Tosin and Okoye back in the fold then we are free to go

David Okereke starts from the bench today for Torino away at Already crowned Serie A Champs, Inter Milan.

Okereke is yet to open his goals account for Torino this season after his Winter Transfer loan switch from Cremonese in Serie B with whom he had 2 goals and 2 assists across 19 games this season (Coppa Italia and Serie B).

Really surprising how some don't rate Michael Olise. That lad will truly add a lot to the Super Eagles attacking dynamics with his crossing creativity and knack for the Creative Final ball. Also decent in offball work. Olise will add to the Super Eagles, no caps.

I have always said we need Nwakali for what he brings with his unique deep midfield profile but Olise also ticks the boxes with his own AM profile too.

But then, the lad, Olise still has his eyes and heart elsewhere. France is his priority for now.

I donā€™t care where we get the midfielder from,we just need someone in that middle and if we failed to act fast we are not going to WC.

In order words, no more consistent top performance in top 5 league thing. I am an advocate of if I'm getting low current from phcn and I see I pass my neighbour gen set. I will manage it first till I get full current. But some of us will rather stick with the low current because of hatred for the small gen set. Like my papa always say when he was alive. Na only one day witchcraft take senior hatred.

Yes good to have players in top leagues but in some situations one just need to go low and get things done or else na gbege.

Itā€™s glaring that we are always finding it so difficult in the middle, funny eagles lose possession even to weaker teams, check out our match against Mali.

Egbon I don't think I said he was bad! I said he has elite crossing but slow and only dribbles to his left. For me, he is simply overhyped. That's my stance. Based on what I watch this rating is crap. Bassey 5/6.4? Lol! Apart from the goal what else did Schulup do but was rated 7? Once you assist/score your ratings jump up whether you're playing crap or not. I don't base my assessment on that!

Baba Marjori,I brought the rating out for those who didnā€™t watched the match.Hype or no hype, slow and dribbles to his left,Olise he has been consistently good this season for Crystal Palace.I will not compare but having such kind of player then Chuckwueze will sit tightly and up his games with eagles.

Egbon! He will not play for Super Eagles. The English are pressuring him. Reason they are hyping him recently. Lol! He might even make the Euro list!

How about Eze? He is already an English International and having a similarly fine season at Palace. Will England drop Eze and pick Olise in the name of cap-tying him? The England Euro list will be interesting. Cole Palmer will make that list before Olise.

In any case, it is true that Olise's heart is not with Nigeria. I won't mind him if he wants to come but truth be told, he has his eyes elsewhere. This is why I would rather focus on the options we "truly" have in Europe and outside Europe. But instead of us focusing on our true options, we still have folks in here ass-licking everything "foreign" or Top 5 leagued-based even when they show zero interest in the GWG.

This is exactly the mindset I want fans to have but nope... they become "Komeknish" and start talking down "valid" options we have outside the top 5 that fits the roles that needs upgrades or natural slot fillings.

Well done Kog.

Arokodare vs Onyedika still ongoing in Belgium.

Genk vs Club Brugge. Indeed a Championship title battle.

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 1:45pm On Apr 28
Decent midfield player. Hardworking off the ball, can press and also get forward. A decent dribbler as well. But in truth, his passing isn't exactly tops but just decent enough.

Olawoyin will be a fine addition to the midfield but isn't exactly gonna bring us that x-factor quality in the middle game in terms of what exactly stands him out.

How about fisayo dele-bashiru
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 2:09pm On Apr 28
Fisayo doesn't impress me technically. But he is a hardworking player in the final third who is more direct and loves to press high. His passing range isn't up there but a decent passer in the short and medium passing game.
A decent ball striker and can find a man but isn't exactly Eagle eyed. Doesn't have the Vision of a true CAM.

Better to invite any decent midfielder doing it in top 15 leagues,if na Nwakali,Olawuyiā€™s,Bashiru even if na Daga,Akinsanmiro,Eletu I donā€™t careā€¦our possessives football is poor.We need boys who can handle the ball very well.Iwobi alone cannot do itā€¦Ndidi,Onyenka and Onyedika are similar so we just need ball passers, nothing more

Olawoyin, Tochukwu, Ebenezer, Uche and Nwakali needs to be drafted asap!

Midfield options with the ball playing Profiles we need:

- Ibrahim Olawoyin

Ball playing Youngster options:
- Akinsanmiro Ebenezer
- Victor Eletu
- Tochukwu Nnadi
- Daniel Daga
- Chrisantus Ugonna Uche

Midfield options also needed but not true ball playing profiles:

- Wilfred Ndidi
- Frank Onyeka

Exactly my point. If Eze won't make it, I don't see how Olise would too. You have listed some of the options in strong contention for the euros. Maddison, Bowen, Foden, Palmer, Gallagher, Bellingham... haba! No chance!

And yes, the listed Naija lads are all ball playing profiles and should get their chances in the Super Eagles ASAP. But we never settle the matter of coaching. That is what determines how our midfield's future will look like.

Whatever it will take for us to win the MF battle is welcome. Our match against Mali just reminded me of Nig 99 u20 wyc Ngr vs Mali. Seydou Keita and his gang running rings in our MF.
