Re: The NBA Begins by BlueMann: 2:35am On May 01 |
That was some serious clutch play from Maxey. 7 points in about 30 secs. But how have the Knicks bottled that |

Maxey I love the playoffs mehn |
Re: The NBA Begins by BlueMann: 3:15am On May 01 |
If only Josh Hart had made both free throws before Maxey's tying three. Speaking of Maxey, what a night: a monster performance to overcome 19 points on 37% from Embiid (as well as 9 turnovers ), while also overcoming another big night from Brunson |
Re: The NBA Begins by BlueMann: 3:21am On May 01 |
Poor Bucks are going home tonight. That historic regular season from Giannis, plus the highly anticipated partnership with Dame in the playoffs...just for it to end like this. Damn those damned injuries. Anyways, till next season. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:24am On May 01 |
Magic are dragging it rough with the Cavs. Unbelievable. Banchero has been lights out |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:26am On May 01 |
BlueMann:Regular season and free throw merchants. When it's time to score real buckets they are always nowhere to be found 37% as a big man is crazy can't believe they were comparing him to Joker with a straight face Sixers better bring out the Brink truck for Maxey. Nigga gonna be Scrooge McDuck |
Re: The NBA Begins by BlueMann: 4:57am On May 01 |
BlueMann: So...I was wrong about the Bucks. They live to fight another day, at the very least. Don't think Giannis or Dame will be back for the rest of this series tho. The rest guys will have to thug it out. |
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 6:06am On May 01 |
One player that has gone under the radar in these playoffs is Khris Middleton. Shout out to that baller. I thought he was done in this league. Man has balled out. 3 Likes 1 Share |

I've only just found out about the Timberwolves' AD, that boy is 💥. He did KD wrong but that ones powers have waned considerably, might be time to retire and go back to Texas to finish his degree. |
Re: The NBA Begins by etidy: 9:04am On May 01 |
A40: To be fair to embiid he looked banged up and gased in that game, yet he played incredible defense in overtime,he's playing with a lot of guts and could have mailed in for the season. If embiid was just at 70% , this series would have been over. |

Re: The NBA Begins by kendrick9(m): 3:49pm On May 01 |
A40:Dude is playing on one leg with a facial paralysis. And still dropped 50 the other night. Meanwhile your homie Jamal is shooting below 39% apart from game 5 he shot above 40% |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 6:47pm On May 01 |
kendrick9:I get it now. You love your free throw merchants. From SGA to Embiid Embiid is a 7'2 280 pounder shooting 43% from the field. Imagine that. For context AD also a center and injury prone shot 62% And FYI Jamal Murray also playing with an injury only difference is he's on the court and not making a whole song and dance about it. You would never know if you saw him play. Not some people that have their yearly alibi already prepped for when they lose 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 7:23pm On May 01 |
A40: So type of injuries don't matter? Jamal Murray had a calf issue same as Giannis, one guy can play the other cannot even suit up for the game. I also see how you categorized as being injured and being injury prone as the same thing. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 8:14pm On May 01 |
Khanben:What's your point? He's still injured Why did he conveniently leave that out like Jamal was a 100%? Pretending Jamal is not more of a dog than Embiid is just laughable. Also which of the injured or injury prone label doesn't apply in this example? Both parties are injured and injury prone. No? |
Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 12:00am On May 02 |
A40: Embiid is currently injured, AD up until the last half of game 5 was not. Acting as if there is no difference is hilarious. When AD actually became injured, we all saw how far his performance plummeted, be scored zero points from the field in a whole half, and was basically non-existent on offense in an elimination game. So yes, there is a big difference between playing while injured and being injury prone. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:17am On May 02 |
Khanben:One of my biggest sports pet peeves is the injury excuse. If I see you between those white lines then clearly you're good enough to play The difference is certain people have a much higher pain tolerance than others and anyone watching AD knows his tolerance for pain is quite low to put it mildly And why are you acting like AD has not been a non factor late in these games. Games 2-4 he scored 3pts or less in the 4th. He's been largely a first half guy and whether deliberately or coincidentally has always vanished late in games AD for all his sublime and elite skills is not exactly a bastion of toughness and mental strength. At the slightest discomfort he turns to shark food instead of maintaining a poker face. Anyway I'm not accepting any excuses for any players I see on the court. That is doing a disservice to the opponent |

Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:39pm On May 02 |
larride:Instead of blowing up and rebuilding they will trick themselves again that tried and tested postseason failures who will be 35 years and older next year will find a way to perform miracles. And you wonder why some teams never win If the Clippers lose this series they need to blow the entire team up. Full fire sale. Hell if Ty Lue wants to leave help him pack Extending Kawhi 3 years, someone who has been injured 4 straight seasons in the playoffs already highlights their stupidity. Let's see if they compound it by keeping the other guys as well Disclaimer: All this is moot if the Mavs choke the series away 2 Likes |
