Barbra Banda Strikes Again! ⚽️✨

The Copper Queens skipper was simply unstoppable on the pitch today, delivering a masterclass performance that left the North Carolina Courage defense in awe. With two well-taken goals and a delightful assist, Barbra Banda once again showcased her unparalleled talent and unwavering leadership, propelling the Orlando Pride to a convincing 4-1 victory.

Banda's first goal was a thing of beauty, as she deftly weaved through the Courage's backline before slotting the ball past the keeper with precision. Her second strike was equally impressive, a powerful finish that left the North Carolina players with no chance.

But Banda's impact went beyond just scoring, as she orchestrated the Pride's attacking play with the poise and vision of a true captain. Her defense-splitting pass set up her teammate for the third goal, cementing the Pride's dominance and leaving the opposition in their wake.

It was a performance that exemplified Barbra Banda's unparalleled talent and leadership. The Copper Queens skipper once again proved that she is a force to be reckoned with, delivering a stellar display that thrilled the crowd and showcased her status as one of the NWSL's brightest stars.

If we want to be logical and remove any form of bias, 1pt should be the expectation, draw against Brazil. However, i would be over the moon if we can get 4pts from this group.

So even with the SuperFalcons performance at the World Cup 😂😂😂

I like this from you though and I believe you were one of those who wrote them off even before the last World Cup that they weren’t even going to qualify from the group.!

Oh yes I did write them off and was more than happy with the WC outing. But now we are in a group with the World champions who are definitely better than England and a Japanese team that many even tipped to win the last WC. For me, it would be unfair to expect that it would be a walk in the park for us and our right to advance from that group. I wish our team nothing but the best and I hope we advance to the 2nd round but won't crucify the team if they fail to do so.

The truth is tactically the Spanish and Japanese side are way ahead of us but again we have got a team that’s Compact, Young and very Athletic coupled with some exciting Players. We can hold our own against them for sure especially with the current crop of players we have in Midfield that can Double task..!

We have a Chance, Our World Cup Performance will definitely put a lot of fears in them too, Randy should just get his own way of getting the results right… What Matters is the result before we consider the Play.!

I hope you didn’t forget that we were better than England on that day.!

Spain are the World Champions YES, but the falcons can hold theirs against them if our markers that day can do a good job against their key players ( Aitana, Mariona, Alexia, Hermoso) render them useless and trust ourselves that we can win especially on our Counter Game, we have to be smart enough to take our few chances!!

Our major setback right now is the Link up play between the Midfield and Attack, then the 3 Combination upfront! But again must times our Wing forwards do combine defensive duties with their Attacking Job which makes it not really easy for them too…!

See why I would love to see a Banda or Chawinga kind of player in our Attack, they bring that extra Pace and energy upfront because of how they’re built, with this kind of players upfront your opponents will always be restless because they can punished once that forward burst into space with Pace…

Hope you haven’t forgotten how Oshoala used to do it Box-2-Box with her strength and pace when she was much younger, that’s same stage the likes of Banda, Kundananji, Chawinga are right now just that there testosterone level is on a higher side. We used to have few of them in the Leagues here but because them not possess those outer Women’s traits they kick them out and refers to them as Men, now that they’re being allowed to play I believe many will have out very soon....!

Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani:
Right now Zambia is more like the Equatorial Guinea 🇬🇶 of those days how they gave our Ladies tough time and also tried sharing dominance with their Higher Testosterone built Players, their No.2, No.5, No.8 and No.10 were the major culprits then..

I can’t really say they were Men then cause there wasn’t any Proof just their Physique and how quick they were. Same way Banda, Chawinga Sisters are right now..

When No.8 Salimata Simpore went to Belarus to play she didn’t spend more than 1 seasons if I’m not mistaken because of how she was been called out then, The other Clubs had to call on their FA to do check up on her which I read back then before she left..

There was also the question of whether they were Equato-Guinean or whether they were Burkonabe (that is, whether the Simpore sisters had played for Burkina Faso before).

I listened to an interesting documentary back then, I think it was on the BBC World Service.

1) Someone proved that the Simpore Sisters had played for Burkina Faso in a friendly competition that was organised by a millionaire. The competition was between several West African teams.

2) They said that the idea of using foreigners, men and androgynous women came from the son of the president of Equatorial Guinea. He was basically running sports in the country at the time.

3) It stopped when they got a foreign coach, I think he was Brazilian. He told them that they would get caught and banned and he convinced them to drop the idea.

4) They interviewed someone that said that the foreign coach told him that the Simpore "sisters" were actually men

Salimata Simporé (born 29 January 1987) is currently a Burkinabé footballer who played as a forward for Belarusian Premier League club FC Minsk few years ago and in 2017/18 played for the Burkina Faso women's national team.

Between 2006 and 2010, Burkinabé-born Simporé used to play for Equatorial Guinea as a naturalized player. When she was in Belarus it was very trendy then cause she was accused of being a Man which made her leave Belarus but till date there haven’t been any real proof that she’s a Women or Man!

But again what have CAF really done to settle this Gender issue and for Players like Barbara Banda, Chawinga Sister, Simpore Sisters, Clara Luvanga and many more? Like are they really Women with Male features or Really Women but looks like men or just their Testosterone level that’s on the high side??
