Good morning Everyone, pls am at the point of booking for my biometric. Pls what does Flexi mean and also can I pick flexi as individual applicant. Pls I need help

You need to pay for flexi. It means you can walk in any time from 10am to get your biometric done. If you want a free slot, watch out for the boxes not greyed out.

Good morning. She must include her own statements of account - regardless of the sponsorship. The low statement might be an issue. The logic is simple. The visa officers always want to be sure that an individual can afford the trip - in the unlikely event the sponsor disappoints for any reason. Therefore, even with a sponsor, it is preferable for an individual to have more than enough funds to sponsor the trip him/herself. I hope I make sense.

Please see the attached refusal letter. What can I do to improve this my people? Should the company put the money in her account? Does the difference between her earning and the amount the company is using to sponsor make it look suspect? She works in a legit company but their salary I must say is low and we didnt put her salary account statement with the application though we put 6 months pay slip and the company's letter detailing they will sponsor her.

Please help

1. Her salary is low but should not be an issue really. If she presents her case very well
2. She must include her statement(s) of account + payslips
3. She must demonstrate her ties to Nigeria - partner? children? aged parent? property? school? Anything to prove that she will come back to Nigeria
4. The major reason for the denial is that she did not say much about herself . She focused on presenting documents about her company.

okay. Thanks. Any suggestions what she can do? If the company puts the money in the account will it move the needle? When filling the form do I tick she is going to be using her own personal savings?

That will look suspicious. The company does not need to put any money in her account. She will tick sponsored. She should just provide her account statement and prove her ties to Nigeria. Very simple really.

Thank you so much. I put in that she has children and parents. Do I need to write it as a separate letter? Then the account statement should be how many months?

She can include a cover letter. Or additional information section. State the details of her children (names, DOB, schooling etc) and include copies of their birth certificates. Provide some information about her parents and emphasis their ages and the fact that she takes care of them. Her ties will be her children and aged parents - who she takes care of and cannot abandon to stay in the UK illegally. Her write up needs to be convincing as we have seen / heard of people abandoning spouse, children and parents in Nigeria (a very familiar story to visa officers). 6 months statement of account.

Hello everyone,
I received collection email for my parents visiting visa but I have not received any decision email. Please when should I except refusal or approval email from UKVI?.
I'm really worried. I paid for DHL to the east so I'm expecting it by Tuesday but I would like to know the outcome before they get the passport.
Is there a way to know before getting the passport?

Please when did they do the biometrics? And which center?

I think ECO is trying to say they need to see her financial standing eg her bank statement
She also need to show other ties
They basically want her to proof ties that will bring her back.
They company can either increase her pay?
She can include other savings or investments.
If you read through the thread , you will get the gist. You need to proof she has alot to bring her back to Nigeria( like family, property and she travelled before?
Just read up there is alot to glen from here.

I tracked my application yesterday, and it's showing that the application has been transferred to the VAC. I haven't received an email from UKVI yet. Does this mean a decision has been made?

Hello all, had biometrics on 22nd April, now I got collection email on 3rd of May, no other email. 3rd of May was a Friday and I got the email around 4pm (close of business), so I can't collect the passport until Monday.

The suspense is killing me guys, should I expect another email stating the UKVI's decision? because all I got was the collection email so far. The application was for standard visitor visa

It depends

1. How long is she staying for ?
2. Is her accomodation and feeding supported ?

Usually it’s £100 per day don’t know if that has changed

But provide more details so we can advise appropriately

Thanks for the response

1. We're planning for her to stay for 6 months

2. Yes, it is supported by me.

There is no way around it. Go to your pharmacy and get a Xanax. And Be patient

This is the reason I came here to get answers
"PAYMENT UNAVAILABLE: The online payment processing solution is currently unavailable; please wait before attempting to pay for "Mandatory User Pay", "Priority Visa", or "Super Priority Visa".
This is the message on their page so I didn't bother to click to pay. I don't know what step to take

These kind of questions you need to be wary of for your safety. If dey eventually send you mails make sure it is to a dummy email completely different from your original one.

Are you in the UK, if yes, then you can use your UK bank statement and pay slips as the sponsor if she's not working in Nigeria. And also depending on your own visa status in the UK. Add other supporting documents eg if you are inviting her for your graduation ceremony, then you add the invitation letter from your University.

I'm on COS too and I used my pay slips and uk bank statement with 2k closing balance. I wrote a good sponsorship letter and explanation letter for them backed up with my tenancy agreement and council tax receipts.
