OP, tell your friend to go ahead with the marriage only if he has a spiritual leading to do so, as well as a stronger spiritual backing.
The reason is occultic fathers offer up their children and properties in absolute allegiance to their Principalities of worship.

One of my best friends who is expected to get married this year just called me for hours with regards to his plans.

He met this babe 2 years ago and things were going fine. I even know the girl as a nice lady and very homely. I don chop her food, she cooks well. Both of them attend RCCG church. My friend is a casual member while his fiance is a serious member and doesn't miss weekly
So my friend to take his relationship more seriously decided to visit his fiancé's family so they know him. Before then, the fiancé had told him that her father is a former Baptist but has stopped being religious and sometimes does traditional practices. On the day of him visiting her home, he was welcomed even bought gifts for the dad and mum. But he said his spirit was very uncomfortable in that house.

There was an standing portrait of the father on white with beads and regalia to show he is Ogboni. Also in the house, there were a few funny looking art works which looks occult. My friend played cool, the father even asked of his church and he told him. The father proudly said he is a traditional man. After the meeting, the next day he asked his girlfriend if her father is an ROF member and she said yes that she told him before that he is a traditional man.

But my friend is showing signs of doubts. He told me he loves the girl, but that he wants nothing to do with anything occultic in this life till he dies. His family may not agree but even if he insist to have his way because of love, he wants to be sure it will not end in regret.

I told him what really matters is the heart of the person he is marrying. My guy said yes but family background matters. Foundation matters, which is true.

There are too many ignorant responses on this thread by people who have absolutely NO knowledge of what or who the Ogboni are.

Historically, the Ogbonis are the judicial officers attached to the palaces of all the Obas in Yorubaland for centuries. So, they are the ones who have judicial authority among the High Chiefs in Yorubaland and they play a role in that hierarchy. Many decades back, because of my interest in comparative religion, I read a lot of books on different world religions and faiths in order to have a better understanding of people and NOT be irresponsibly biased.

Based on people's level of spiritual consciousness or knowledge, they must be left alone (as long as they aren't doing anything negative). I must commend the girl's father for NOT preventing his daughter from going to her RCCG. This shows that he is a very liberal man and he even used to be a Baptist church member before gravitating towards his indigenous religious roots. There are many families like that where some men who have reached a high state of consciousness or awareness stopped going to the conventional orthodox churches because of very obvious observed contradictions in the entire church doctrines, so, they should be left alone and respected.

It's a known fact for several decades or centuries now that the foundations of the modern Christian church is based of off the worship of the Sun God (Sol Invictus) and this is why Sunday is still used as the day that Christian church services take place. We know how Emperor Constantine of the Roman Empire institutionalized the indigenous (pagan) Sun God worship into what is now the church which evolved from the Catholic religion. In the original Greek manuscripts before translations were done into the English language Bible, the term "SUN of GOD" was used to denote the worship of the Sun God or Savior God. In this case, Jesus is the corruption of the Sun God (Iesus or Iezeus or Zeus). This provided a dilemma for the early medieval English language Bible translators, so, they had to irresponsibly adopt the use of "SON of GOD" instead to cover up. If you check some Bible pages, at the bottom sections of every one of those pages, you will find VERY TINY fine prints where it is often stated that "Other Bible sources have DIFFERENT meanings and interpretations from what is quoted on this Bible page" meaning that there are DIFFERENT interpretations that exist. It will ONLY take me a few moments to provide several legitimate books and Weblinks and your entire being will be shaken as to how the Orthodox religions' priesthoods have manipulated religion for themselves and held the masses spell bound like zombies. Your friend himself is a NOMINAL member of RCCG based on your post yet he is the one allowing FEAR to overwhelmed him. He should man up and get married to the RCCG girl who is a more devoted member of that church instead of pussyfooting. One the other hand, he should let another devoted man to step in instead of wasting the girl's time if he knows he's gonna continue to remain a coward.

Let your friend read this BRUTALLY honest submission from me and let him make up his mind based on what he has read. It's his right of choice but he should STOP demonizing others because he is ignorant of their beliefs.
