Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed Israel will "stand alone" if it has to in its war against Hamas, after the US threatened to stop sending some weapons to its ally.

President Joe Biden earlier said the US would halt offensive munitions supplies to Israel if it attacks the southern Gaza city of Rafah.

The Israeli prime minister said in a video statement on Thursday: "If we have to stand alone, we will stand alone.

"If we need to, we will fight with our fingernails. But we have much more than fingernails."

It is time for Israel and the Palestinians to come to their senses and stop fighting and agree on some compromises

Because right now, I regard both sides as being the same and the same. Two bald men fighting over a comb. And the result is too many dead people. And anyone picking a side needs to stop and realize that both sides are for once wrong.

But neither side wants the fighting to stop. It's become an addiciton, and it has become a means by which one set of humans labels another set of humans as evil. And boy do we humans love to take sides, and love labels.

Call me when both sides come to their senses.
