We were recently moved by AEDC from Band 'D' to Band 'A'. In fact, they move us without notice.

Sometimes they will move us to Band 'C', all without notice. I just bought a prepaid unit of N1,500 this morning and they gave me only 6.7 unit, in this harsh economy.

I got 41.1 unit last month with same N1,500 when we were in Band 'C'

6.7 unit can't last me more than two days for a minimal use.

My chest dey pain me. 💔 😢
where is the location in Abuja

Tinubu is turning nigeria into Lagos
Plenty taxes with little benefits
You are very intelligent, I'm from the same local government with Tinubu, Island ( Ikoyi obalende LCDA), my family house is almost close to his house, honestly, I didn't vote for him, because I know the trauma we lagocians are going through with high cost of things him and his political sons introduced in Lagos..

When was N206 announced? By who? And for what band if I may ask
NERC directed all DisCos to review tariff band A downward to N206.80, and they have all complied since on the 6th of May. I am surprised that you didn't know this. Check your DisCo website or Twitter page.

Nigerians, can we try to be honest even in criticism of AEDC.

There's no way you could have been getting 41.1 unit for 1,500 naira under AEDC, in the past.

In the recent past, 1,500 naira will get you about 21 or 22 units of AEDC electricity but now.....

Maybe 4.1 unit on your band.

you must think people here are ignorant, u posted rubbish snap your meter after loading the card. For you to use 6 units in 2 days it means you had light for at least 10 hours a day and there's a/c in all the rooms or you're cooking only with electric cooker.Go and buy petrol or diesel 1500 and run it for 2 days make we see.zombiedients lieing and spreading falsehood all over the internet. This story is a blatant lie I can tell you. I've been using prepaid meter for 12 years and I live in a mansion of 6 bedrooms and 2 living room. TV,fridge, iron and everything but no a/c.ive never used 1.5 units in a day and I have power for a minimum of 6-9 hours a day. Next time you want to lie make sure it's an intelligent one

N1500 is approximately 1USD, before do you want to use it for 30days? The old days you quoted of subsidies are gone. Embrace the new normal.

Kindly note that the cost of energy has a global rate. The fact Nigeria is world capital of poverty doesn't mean the rate will go low to accomodate us. Power are run by gas and they have a global cost rate including other transmission and distribution cost.

Sometimes you may switch off your metre after 10 hours, you must not leave it all working just to save cost.

Nigeria must align with global cost, we have lived too long on subsidies due to poverty.
lol do nigerians earn in dollars. 1 usd is too much to pay for light bill. some people dont earn up to that per day. i thought you guys claim things are very cheap in Nigeria huh

my friend shut your illetrate mouth up. 1 unit = 1 kilowatt/hr. if you use 100 watts bulb. you will blow 1 unit in 10 hours. now imagine a house with 5 bulbs. thats easily 5 units in 10 hours. in this case 6 units wont last a day.

In my house at Oshogbo, I get 4.2 units for a recharge of N1000.
I wonder how long we'll keep enduring this hardship.

Our neighbour is tapping from our light. We use 14kw for 3 days or 2days. We don't use things that uses high voltage. Just a small fridge, not industrial fan but just a normal standing fan and we charge our phone. This out neighbor tapping from us using all kinds of blenders... Washing machine, meat fryer and so many electronics that consumes so much energy. We complained to our landlord who doesn't stay here in Nigeria but the man is never serious. We can consume 4 units in an hour. We load 1000 for 14kw. Please I'm tired. This people are draining us. Anybody that can help us. I don't think we are in band A B or C.

You're the most dullard person I have ever come across. You are aligning with global cost of living and doing business but your govt refused to align with global salary for civil servants except for themselves.
Since Tinubu removed subsidies, economy has been contracting for the past successive 8 months, according to CBN. Businesses are struggling and dying, more people have been put into poverty, prices of food has gone out of control. The destruction of our economy caused by Tinubu within 9 months of his administration has surpassed the ones caused by all the past administrations since 1999 combined together.
