So we must believe the House of Assembly members duly elected by their own constituent are not doing the work of the state because Fubara says so? It's like you are forgetting that the State House of Assembly is meant to be an independent arm of government.

It is not the first time Godson is fighting his godfather and I doubt it will be last. And it is not the first time that lawmakers are defecting to another party. Infact they can defect if there's a faction in their party. It's literally the excuse most of them usually use.

There's no way that 3 lawmakers will sit and declare the seat of 25 other lawmakers vacant. It's an illegality but you guys are supporting that illegality because it seems to be against someone you don't like. When table turns, I hope your stand remain the same.
Well let us see how the courts give judgement on this matter, Rivers people deserve good governance and they are the one currently taking the hit. The house should stop talking about impeachment, while Fubara too should focus on providing good governance to his people...

How did the bolded enter the convo? Ok Tinubu is already using his executive power to impoverish the masses, Fubara will respect himself when Wike decide to respect himself too. Oshiomole tried to use house of Assembly members to impeach Obaseki, Obaseki fought back and won. I don't even rate Obaseki or Fubara but no sitting Governor will sit back and watch the House illegally remove him from office.

grin

......let remind you habibi. Can you help with evidence of Commissioners sabotaging Sim's administration.

Also what are the atrocities of Wike?!

How did Obaseki fight back and win by the way?! LOL!

The lawmakers will continue to talk about whatever it is they want to talk about.

Impeachment is not a coup. Its a process that's enshrined in the constitution.

......habibi, can you backup the first underlined with evidence?! LOL!

He has not done anything wrong yet he burnt down the State's Assembly Building?! Are you aware important files and documents were lost to the unlawful, awful event?!

He has not done anything wrong yet he didn't obey the court order and resubmit the Budget to right members of state's Assembly?!

He has not done anything wrong yet he forced himself inside the Legislative Quarters harrassing their families?! Did he write them before visiting their Quarters?

Oh! He has Executive Power hence can do anyhow but PBAT shouldn't do anyhow with his Executive power as 001 of Federal Republic of Nigeria?!

What are Wike's atrocities by the way?!

We all know what we are doing ṣẹ. LOL!
U get sense at all? Someone is talking about after they signed the peace deal.

Impeachment that the court can even vacate and reinstall him if there's no evidence of wrongdoing against him unless Fubara is saying in just 1 year he has done impeachable offenses.

Fighting your godfather is not an impeachable offense by the way.

Let me tell you one of the crimes of the commissioners. After they came back from that Abuja meeting where SIM wilfully signed the agreement and even admitted on live TV he was committed to implementing it, he secretly instigated people who called themselves Rivers elders to file a case in court challenging the intervention of the president as unconstitutional.

The Rivers State government was the defendant. The state attorney General duly prepared his response saying that those who instituted the case have no locus standi and can't show how that agreement signed affects them.

Fubara summoned the attorney General and asked why he will prepare such a response. The AG was surprised. You publicly admitted you'll implement the document in the interest of peace. Why are you coming back in the secret to tell me not to file for dismissal of the case.

That was what led to the friction between them which later resulted in him being redeployed before he eventually resigned.

The governor says one thing in public. He wants peace, the struggle is all for nothing but in private, he's the one fermenting trouble and instigating the emblems of war in the state.

But yeah, lets blame Wike. The governor is just a blameless victim

Did anybody force him to sign? Was he under compulsion when he made the broadcast and said he was committed to implementing it?

But he tried too Implement it example Ehie resigning, allowing those commissioners back(people who insulted him in public oh.), Also recognizing those ex lawmakers and even violating the law by working with them. What did they do in return? Passing laws that tends to reduce Fubara powers. Guy leave all these shalaye even u know wike won't tolerate half of what those lawmakers and LG chairmen are doing. The guy is just behaving like he is from the west.

Part of the agreement was for him to represent the budget and not install local government caretaker committee. The lawmakers only started "passing those laws that reduced his powers" when they realised he wasn't committed to full implementation of the agreement.

Although that true. But the lawmakers on their own didn't do anything too show they are committed too peace. Anyone expecting Fubara to embrace peace is foolish cos no one would work with commissioners and LG chairmen who have insulted him in public.

Just this once? I was only wrong about Wike winning the primaries and right about every other thing that relates to Rivers politics.

U were 100% sure Wike will win against Atiku in the face of incontrovertible evidence that suggests otherwise.

That says a lot about how emotional u get about supporting Wike even when it’s obvious he’s in the wrong .

U are obviously supporting godfatherism in this Wike vs Fubara fight which everyone knows is just about who controls what ; not necessarily about the good of the people of Rivers state or good governance in the state .

Even if Wike survives to oust Fubara , there’s no guarantee that Wike would still not fight the next person he installs after Fubara the moment such individual decides to exercise his executive powers instead of remaining a stooge of Wike.

I just hope people like u are not in the majority in Rivers state cos una go just entrench Godfatherism
that will never favor the common man in the state .

Not even Sim has the interest of the people of Rivers State at heart.

This is because, if he indeed had the interest of the people of Rivers State at heart, he would not have agreed to be helped by a godfather.

He should have toiled well enough to endear himself to the people of Rivers State.

It’s not about beating any dead horse. The koko of the matter is that ur support for Wike goes beyond a normal citizen siding with a governor that performed while in power; ur support for Wike goes beyond that and it’s obvious .

Image 1 shows Ibime predicting Wike will get burned by Sim who he hopes to be his godfather by replicating Tinbu’s Lagos structure . Guess what ur reply to him was ?

Image 2 and 3 shows u supporting godfatherism
Cos u believe Fubara is will remain a loyal sheep that will relinquish his executive powers to Wike and allow Wike to rule from Abuja while he(Fubara ) remains a dummy.

yeah sure, the only bridge of the matter is whether we will be alive or not, apart from that, every other turns and twists leading to the main event is going to be the fun, interesting and fascinating part of it..like if they later make up,align, realign etc etc..

I should guess my reply to him? Something I just posted myself earlier today. I clearly said I didn't think SIM had it in him and even if he did, he will be out in 4 years. Something I've said over and over again

I expected you to post your evidence that I called for SIMs impeachment and now shifting the goalpost to him spending 4 years.

I'm not interested in any discussion on godfatherism because it's just a convenient emotional argument. My response to donjazet in that screenshot stands.

The irony.

The godfather who had done extremely well in the state is replicating it elsewhere while the prodigal son has nothing tangible to show after year in office.

Rivers people are the ones suffering the fight. I wonder why Abuja people are not suffering from the same fight.

Let's not call out incompetence and be chasing shadows.
